Lus Mor

2nd time to stay here in Lus Mór and in August in the sunshine and january in our wild winter,its such a welcoming and cosy retreat.situated just minutes from roundwood village you also have,sallys gap, Victors way,the sugar loaf,vartry resevior walk,glendalough but to name a few all just minutes away. A choice of room or dorm,all spotless,bright,warm and inviting,common spaces are bright and beautifuly decorated. We lit the stove,there was plenty of logs provided and it was sooo toasty .A local pizza shop delivered supper,Breakfast is continental with option for cooked but the fresh fruit ,breads eggs were more than enough ,There benches in the garden to sit and appreciate the views,the bonus are the 2 beautiful horses than roam the garden. Now i save the best till last, the homemade bannana bread,oh lord it is devine,we were even gifted some to take home.Our host was absolutely lovely,so welcoming and friendly.I just cant recommend enough

Perfect overnight stop on the Wicklow Way, nice to not have a bunk and the shared dorm is very well laid out allowing for privacy and plenty of space for bags etc. While only 2 bathrooms they were clean and well equipped. Breakfast in the morning was a treat and the shuttle service into town for the dinner when I arrived was also much appreciated. Very fairly priced as well. Beautiful sunrise and harvest moon the night I stayed!

We were 2 families sharing the 8 bed room for 1 night after a hike at Glendalough. We were so grateful for the use of the drying room, for the hot drinks, for the lovely social space and the cosy beds. Grace helped us book dinner and we took the shuttle bus in and out of roundwood. Breakfast was great the next morning. This place is so well organised. It’s clean and has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

What a superb hostel , a lovely warm welcome from Grace, however all the staff are super helpful . Lovely comfy beds and views to die for, I’ve stayed here a few times now and each time I’m sad to leave this super chilled hostel in the hills. Can’t wait to come back again, I’m already looking to book my next visit.

The hostel is located near the Wicklow way and is a perfect stop. Water/coffee is included, there is a good dinner available and there are even packed lunches. A drawback is that dinner is only available starting from 8:30, and while we reserved it to be ready by then, we only got our plates at 9. Still, I would definitely recommend the place.

Our 15 middle aged quiz enthusiasts were looking for a venue we book book exclusively for two nights which had a large communal area,super friendly hosts,excellent breakfast options,top notch curry&hearty stew for all,spotless rooms,a pale view of hills,proximity to scenic walks and Roundwood village all at amazingly good value...and boy did Rebecca and her hardworking super friendly team of Valentina,Maria,Gina and Laura deliver all over the above!! Cannot recommend this property highly enough - best hospitality I've encountered in a very long time and a gem of a location for couples,families,groups or solo travellers alike. Keep doing what you are doing folks as all of the reviews here are saying the same thing - thanks for making our stay such a memorable and fun experience - we'll be back!!😎
