Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield Oh

This place is nothing like the website. No continental breakfast or coffee provided as advertised. Overall not very kept up, both inside and out. Just looked like they did the bare minimum on everything. Mold in the bathroom with fixtures falling out of the wall. Ice machine that didn't work and stunk of mold/mildew. Spotty internet that wouldn't stay connected...just a bad stay here.

We asked for an iron, and we were told, "there is no iron on the property". We asked for wash cloths, we were told, "sorry they are all in the laundry. Not to mention the bed covers were nasty and shower curtain was yellow and appeared like it wasn't washed at all. Stain all in bath tub.

Do not stay at this hotel. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at and I have stayed at a lot of hotels. The staff is unprofessional and street - like. They site the hotel as being in the hood and asked me "What do you expect for a two star hotel in the Hood." Not very reassuring. Windows were broken, floors were filthy, bathroom was dirty. After moving to three different rooms, I gave up. No pride in how the hotel looks or smells. Non smoking rooms smelled like cigarettes. The exterior is surrounded with thousands of cigarette butts in the grass and around the entrance. The keys do not work. No bathtub stoppers. Ice machine is broke. No iron or ironing board.

Worst experience ever in my hotel stays. Didn’t even feel like showering there. And couldn’t wait to get out and leave. 1) toilet wasn’t even flushed when I checked in to the room. There was someone else’s poop in it! 2) rooms weren’t clean. 3) most electric outlets not working 4) bathroom door gets stuck and doesn’t open once closed. 2 of us had to push and pull many times just to open it 5) breakfast was poor. No bread at 8am. We asked and they didn’t even refill. 6) no elevator. Had to climb to 2nd floor with luggage. Was very hard with my aged parents. Many more issues. Do not go to this hotel!
