Come enjoy Salt Lake in this cozy remodeled mother-in-law!
The spacious and stylish basement suite has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a washer, and a dryer, and is tastefully decorated.
Whatever season it is, this guest suite is equipped to host you whether your stay is long or short in Salt Lake! Bring your pets too (see rules and fees below)
You get the lower level of the house. There is a private separate upstairs unit that is rented as well and is independent of you!
The SPACE -
This guest suite is very centrally located in the Salt Lake Valley. Close to ski resorts, highways, the airport, and so much more that Salt Lake has to offer.

Heating and Cooling-
The thermostat is located in the upstairs unit but we can control the thermostat remotely to whatever temperature you desire. We can also provide space heaters or fans if needed.
This is a truly cozy den! Pictures tell a thousand words and show the layout of the house. There is no central living room.
GUEST ACCESS -
You have access to the entire lower level of the house and free street parking.
This is a non-shared space listing meeting in that you get an entire area and you do not share any areas with anybody else with the exception of the backyard.
There is an upstairs apartment that is accessible from the front porch of the house and will be rented separately while you are there but there is no common area shared space inside the house. You may from time to time see guests walk down the driveway to enter the garage or use the shared backyard!
The thermostat is located in the upstairs unit but we can control the thermostat remotely to whatever temperature you desire.
Please be aware that we do have quiet hours between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM because the upstairs apartment guests and you will need to be respectful of one another. Although this house is remodeled and insulated, you may from time to time hear some noises travel through the floors and walls (similar to a hotel). Your host is here to help with any noise issues from the other unit you may encounter. We do not allow parties and we do not allow any additional guests who are not part of your actual reservation.
HOUSE RULES -
1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2) Occupancy limits: We do not allow more than 4 guests in or on the property at any time, this is a hard rule the violation of which will result in the removal of all guests from the property immediately without a refund. You may be charged for any guest who arrives with you at the extra guest rate on our listing regardless if their stay is overnight as well so please let us know if you will be having any other guests so we can send an alteration request or request for an additional guest fee. Just because it can sleep 4 doesn’t mean that all 4 are included in the base rate. There may be extra guest fees after X # of guests and they will be required to be added officially
3) This is a self-check-in property: You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are being provided by VRBO through the house manual or check-in guide. You are aware that we have outside security cameras to monitor guest count and also for the safety and protection of our property. You can find our house manual and check-in guide here on the VRBO platform on our listing. You also agree that you will not contact your VRBO host BEFORE reading the house manual and the entire listing.
4) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT FEE if you are there longer than you have been authorized. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.
5) Retaliation Clause: You agree that you are booking in goodwill with your host/co-host and that you will not attempt to damage your hosts business because you are unhappy with a ruling by VRBO or the host in the event that you experience anything that you perceive is dissatisfying during your stay or if a resolution is not decided in your favor. You also agree to cover all legal fees in the event that a court proceeding is needed.
6) Quiet Hours are from 10 PM-8 AM.
7) By Booking a reservation you are hereby waiving all rights to pursue legal action against the owner or host for any injury or harm occurring during your stay, You understand and agree to accept liability in full.
8) You agree to clean up after yourselves and that our cleaning fee is not for heavy cleaning. You need to do your own dishes after use.
9) PET RULES - We allow (2) pets! You must agree to: $25/night per pet fee, added to the booking total (Please inquire about the pet fees for extended stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets in furniture or on rugs, and the housekeeper has no extra work as a result of a pet being there). You accept full liability for your pets. Please keep the pets out of the bedrooms.
Look forward to hosting you and your pet!! The location really is great for pets, especially with the park nearby.
10) We don’t allow mail delivery as this unit has no mailbox. Please use Amazon locker or equivalent. Please speak with the host first if you need to send mail.
11) Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.
12)There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are at the property without proper authorization from the host. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.
These rules may seem intense, but we are very easygoing when our lovely guests follow the rules and 99% of them do.
