My wife and I came to Portland Maine to visit family. We stayed at the Sheraton Sable Oaks and we were very pleased we did. I would like to thank Chris Merriam Exec Chef for his kind and generous hospitality. What a gentleman! Meg Poulin Sales Manager happened to come by our table just to say hello. Imagine that? And Suzie our waitress took very good care us. Through our conversations we determined that between the three of these wonderful people there was over 90 years of hospitality expeience at this single property. Can you imagine? That ”is” the testament of this matchless property. We...will...be staying there again. Thank you all

I just spent multiple days here at the Doubletree Hilton for business, and I found this hotel very comfortable and convenient. First, it is just a short drive from the airport and all major highways, yet it is in the middle of a busy shopping area with many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Parking is free, and the huge lot is easy to navigate. The hotel is on the large side, and very popular with groups, as there are many meeting rooms. My room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. I used the wake-up call service every day, and all staff were very polite and friendly to me. I will say the television remote is somewhat confusing, and I never completely mastered how to use it. I enjoyed the luxurious swimming pool, and the decadent free cookie. I did not eat at the hotel, as there were too many other choices nearby. By the way, I chose this hotel to stay in because I liked the location-- I am very happy that the room comfort, the service, and the amenities also made it a great choice in Portland!

We stayed at Home2 Suite in PA that was immaculate and amazing. We expected the same standard would be found here. Nope!! We literally walked in and out of here! This one shouldn't even be called a Hilton properly. It's shameful. This hotel property is absolutely disgusting! Forget for a moment you are listening to planes nonstop and that the windows and walls are thin as paper. The icing on the cake is the assortment of broken furniture sitting in the hallway outside of the elevator ....which leads into the hallway (we were on the 3rd floor) which smells like someone used up a case of Febreze rather than actually cleaned anything. Immediately triggered a migraine for me. It was horrible. And how do I know nothing is clean? Because when I walked into our room it was obvious. The shower had mold around the soap dish. Mold. The air conditioning vent rattled SO loudly that it actually took over the sound of the planes taking off. There was no way my family could have stayed in this room and actually slept. When we nicely brought up the extremely loud rattling air conditioner (didn't even mention the mold or smell in the hallway) to the front desk asking if someone could please fix it, the person at the front desk laughed at my husband. Literally laughed at him. Horrible customer service. We refused to stay here, and the found another (very clean and quiet, I may add!) hotel to stay at. This place is a total dump. Besides the large size of the room, there is nothing else the place has going for them. Check out Homewood Suites by Hilton in Scarborough instead.

Hampton Inn es un lugar muy agradable para permanecer con la familia y los amigos tienen desayuno continental piscina y tubo caliente las habitaciones fueron agradables y limpias el receptor fue muy agradable y bienvenido a aparcamiento las áreas comunes son muy mantenidos

Yo recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que sea muy limpio y la gente son muy respetables el desayuno es asombroso y la zona de piscina siempre es limpia y muy tranquila

In July of this year, I made a reservation through ******* for one night's stay on September 14th. When I attempted to check in at 6 PM I was told that the reservation could not be honored because I was a “no-show”. The desk clerk told me that my reservation had been for two nights, the 13th and the 14th, and that because I was a “no-show” on the 13th I was deemed to be a no-show on the 14th. To get a room I had to book at the hotel's prevailing rate, which was $42.68 more than what I had paid via *******.. A check of my confirmation revealed that yes, I had reserved and indeed paid for two nights, the 13th and 14th, an error I overlooked when I received the confirmation papers from *******. (Had I, I would have corrected the mistake immediately!) Whose mistake this was...mine or Expedia's...is moot...since they sent written confirmation which I failed to correct, I had to bite the bullet on that. However, what is not in question is that TRU had been paid by ******* on my behalf for the two nights in question, and thus TRU had no business assuming that because I was absent on the 13th that I would therefore be absent on the 14th as well. I might have had car trouble, a medical issue, or have been delayed for some other reason... in any case I should have been able to rely on the room being available to me for the entire time for which it had been paid. The hotel manager, said his “system” automatically classified me as a no-show. He was adamant, and said that had I called the hotel and alerted them to my delay, they could have made some accommodation, but since I had not, there was nothing he would do. This is not how you treat a customer: as if TRU were a parent whose child had failed to notify that he wouldn't be home when he was supposed to be. Moreover, they had indeed accepted payment from ******* for both nights, yet when I asked TRU for a refund for the second night, they said sorry, I would have to deal with *******. Which I did. And when ******* contacted them with the same request, they relented and refunded the original amount of the charge for the second night. Bottom line: I was ripped off for the difference, $42.68. (Had ******* not contacted them, they would have happily waltzed away with A DOUBLE PAYMENT FOR THAT ONE NIGHT! Terrible, terrible customer relations....
