Silverstone

The hotel room was far too hot even though it was only 50 to 60 deg outside. Appears the heat remained after previous few days of 90 deg temp. This is due to very poor ventilation in the room. The windows only open about an inch or two (probably becomes of Uk regulations and the way these old windows are designed). There was only small fan provided in room and that did not help. Felt like 90 deg in room overnight. We had room for 3 people and none of us slept well due to heat. Price was expensive but that it to be expected during f1 Grand Prix week and I was ok with that. But not ok with lack of effort by hotel to find ways to cool down the room - they could have had fans on before guest arrived and could have used larger fans etc. we know there was no AC but did not expect such a hot room when it was cool outside (July 3/4)

Atrocious! Sofa bed not made up when we arrived so asked this to be done whilst we were at Silverstone for the day. Got back at 9pm and bed not made. Eventually given the sheets to make the bed ourself. Next morning asked for the room to be cleaned and, again, when we returned, this hadn’t been done. However, the extra towel we had to ask for from reception had disappeared so we had to get another one. Third day, realised the door to our room didn’t lock. Advised reception and also asked for room to be cleaned. Returned at 8pm and, guess what? Room hadn’t been cleaned and lock was still broken. Advised reception and was met with a disgusting attitude and told that I was lucky to be staying here as they don’t normally let the general public stay here during Silverstone F1 weekend. Wonderful service for £350 per night!

Arrived very late ,Deepak was on Reception. He really helpful and gave so good ideas of places to visit while here helped us to our room which was really appriciated. Knowing there was no Air con I was expecting it to be very stuffy but it wasn’t it was ok.The room was so clean not a spec of dust any where shower was perfect . Had best night sleep in a long time .Got down to breakfast much later than planned to be greeted by Emily who was charming and smiling all the food was hot tasted fresh didn’t catch names of restaurant staff or chef but again smiling and happy to help. Upon leaving had quick chat with the housekeeper who again was smiling happy considering the heat and all the rooms ahead to do she was Brilliant . We will totally stay again and recommend the hotel Thank you everyone at Silverstone Premier Inn

Excellent value for money. Warm efficient welcome, great location, and those comfy Premier Inn beds. Did exactly what it said on the tin!! Good pub on site with a beer garden.

Lovely little Premier Inn to stay at for all events, had exactly what we needed for the night, the room was lovely and clean, bed was amazing to sleep in, and the food was lovely. Friendly staff from the beginning, perfect stay and will definitely be going back!

Room 1 was infested with carpet beetles. Although I discretely brought this to the attention of the reception staff (presenting them with 2 of the carpet beetles in a sealed glass - tbh I'd never heard of them until I researched it, we thought they might be bed bugs). Whilst they said they'd closed the room off and said hope my day gets better, we responded to the Premier Inn feedback form, who promised they would get back to me within 5 working days - guess what? No reply. I waited a couple of weeks, then sent comments and photos via contact us page. Again, promised a response in 5 days, and surprise surprise, no reply again. Do they actually care? We are regular customers to Premier Inn, and have never encountered a problem like this before. Whilst the restaurant staff were very friendly and other staff (namely Soxy) went above and beyond to help us with our booking, I would never stay in this Premier Inn again. Room needs a deep clean (that includes wiping the grime off the skirting boards and at the back of sink overflow 🤮) and fumigating. Totally spoiled our trip.
