Coppersmith Hotel

This was such a pleasant surprise. The staff were amazing, the pub downstairs was lovely and cozy even on a grand final weekend. the bed was comfortable and the room was stylish and modern. This is now our place to stay when we visit Melbourne.

The hotel was brilliant and the location was so beautiful. We enjoyed it immensely. The room has everything you need. Probably the only negative was that the bed was hard and pillows were soft. Walking distance to cafes, pubs and tram is just across the road

This is a neat place to stay. Close to where we held our event, the food was terrific, the staff are fantastic from booking to checkin and stay. It's now my third year and I keep coming back. Thank you all again for a wonderful stay and being so accomodating for our big group.

My 18 year old son Brandon stayed at the Coppersmith hotel whilst in Melbourne visiting an open day for one of the universities. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay & said the owners really cared for him being only 18. I would highly recommend this hotel

The Coppersmith Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. I love its boutique style and the service and thoughtfulness of the staff is exceptional. The bistro, bar and rooftop areas are excellent places to eat or relax and the meals are Melbourne standard - excellent! The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to the places everyone wants to go in South Melbourne notably the South Melbourne markets, and a smorgasbord of wonderful restaurants and cafes. Hectors Deli is just up the road, and the lovely Park Lane cafe even closer - and they open early. I had 10 lovely days there and I felt very much at home, coming and going as if I lived there. It will always be my first choice in Melbourne. Thank you so much Coppersmith Hotel!

Very stylish. After hours check-in went smoothly. I really liked that there were some bowls and mini cereals available for breakfast (nutrigrain/special K) as you often don't have time for breakfast when business travelling and there are no shops close by. I did some pilates on the floor one morning and observed that under the bed and cupboard was really clean - no dust! My only suggestion is: get sustainable and quit using those little plastic bottles of toiletries... install some pump packs.

The hotel is in a perfect location ,close to the city, public transport and walking distance to the Sth Melbourne markets and lots of cafes and restaurants and shops, and the room was very clean . Breakfast was not available even though the website says it is available, so that was disappointing. Dinner was really great in the bistro. Our coffee pods were not replaced when the cleaning was done ,so we couldn't have a coffee in the morning and had to go out .

Boutique gastro pub, the best in South Melbourne! I've been travelling for work since they opened and never had a bad experience. This trip, the mulled wine for a winter's night was amazing and staff incredibly hospitable. Special shout out to Clara!

Always a pleasure to stay here. Paul and the team are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant downstairs mean you need not go anywhere else but if you feel like it there’s plenty to see and do within a few minutes walk.
