Tui Blue Scheherazade Adults Only

My mum and I have just spent a week at this hotel!! We absolutely loved it, we literally had no faults! This hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Although this is adults only, we found there was a mix of groups at the hotel from couples to full families of adults. This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, from the security staff on the beach, the cleaners, the life guards, bar staff and waiters, everyone is so friendly and can not do enough for you! Massive shout out to Tito, Katty, Ibrahim and the rest of the TUI entertainment team. They made our trip, we loved that they came to have a chat with us and made us feel really welcome on our first few days at the hotel. There are so many members of staff that deserve a massive compliment, they literally could not do enough for us. From the get go, we met Osama and Allan on the beach, they were so lovely welcoming us to Tunisia. Osama, Rean and Biha could not do enough for us at the pool, every morning they would help us with pillows for the sun beds and mattresses, they did this prior to anyone having to ask them to get them. 10/10 service by the lads at the pool. Down by the pool at the beach, Ahmed was amazing. He constantly had our drinks topped up, he was so friendly and we loved chatting to him. It got to the point that we didn’t even need to ask him for drinks, he would recognise when our drinks were empty and bring some more. He was amazing, we massively appreciated him going to get our drinks for us. Everyone in the snack bar, the pool and the beach are so hardworking, you can really tell by the service given in this hotel. On a night time we were regularly served by Ahmed and Allah in Thea’s. Both were so lovely; keeping our drinks topped up and making us laugh. Anis in the upstairs bar was hilarious and even waved our bus off when we were leaving, he was a proper legend and again works incredibly hard. Both Nazir, who served us in the evenings and Anwar who served us in the mornings was great. The staff at this hotel really know how to go that extra mile and make you feel special, they didn’t treat anyone differently and it was just such an incredible experience. The hotel is well run, we went on a two day trip to the Sahara during our stay. The hotel ensured that we had a packed lunch to go with on the morning of the trip and that a small breakfast was served for those going on the trip. We also took a visit to the al a carte restaurant on site for my mums birthday, our lovely waiter Nazir who we have every night spoke to his friend who then decorated the table and when the dessert was coming out, organised for the waiters and the chefs to come sing my mum happy birthday. It made the meal extra special. We were shocked by the quality of the food. The food looked and tasted like it had come out of a swanky restaurants, it was nice to have a break from the buffet. We ate at the snack bar which was good, the service was amazing but we preferred the main restaurant

Here are photos of the room after the housekeeper cleaned it. The problem started at 9:00 AM when I hung the door hanger to request cleaning of the room. I came back at 11:30 AM and found that they still hadn’t started cleaning the room. I noticed that the door hanger had been turned to the "Do Not Disturb" side. When I entered the room, I saw that they had placed a tea bag and Nescafé in the room, which means someone had entered, placed them, and then turned the door hanger. I came back at 12:00 PM, and the room was still not clean. I left and returned again at 1:00 PM, but the situation was the same. I contacted the housekeeper to tell her that I wanted the room cleaned and that I needed to rest. At 1:50 PM, I found the room was still in the same condition. Finally, at 2:00 PM, it was cleaned, but it was obvious that it had been done very quickly, in about 5 minutes. There was hair everywhere on the floor, and it had not been properly cleaned, especially on the carpet, which hadn’t been cleaned at all. There were stains everywhere, and only the visible areas had been hastily cleaned. The glasses were dirty and had not been washed properly; there was dust and streaks. The bedspread was torn. They didn't restock the shower gels and shampoo either There were also a lot of insects, especially mosquitoes. I got bitten several times. The curtains, the vanity, the sheets, and all other places were dirty. The coffee machine was also not cleaned. Moreover, the chambermaids are very rude. I heard them mocking the guests, saying that they are very dirty, doing this and that... They said this in Arabic, thinking that I wouldn't understand, but I understand a few words since my mother is of Tunisian origin In the end, I was really disappointed with the service, as it doesn't even deserve one star, let alone three stars.

Our stay at this hotel has been nothing short of perfect. Every single aspect has been amazing. The food was very tasty, always a huge selection every day, we never got bored. Lots of food being freshly prepared in front of your eyes. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant with lots of drinks on offer, your glass is always being topped up. We went to the culinarium one night and it was very fancy, a very intimate dining experience with good choice on the menu and beautifully presented food. The sandwiches and cakes at the café were lovely too, and I was very pleased that even iced coffees with syrups were available! The hotel itself was stunning, beautifully designed to feel relaxed and luxurious. Spacious, clean rooms and an amazing view from the balcony to wake up to every morning. It felt like pure luxury. We had a different towel sculpture on our bed every day complete with flowers!! The two pools were great, and there were always waiters bringing you drinks as soon as your glass was empty. The beach was something else! Our favourite spot. Peaceful, fine white sand, gorgeous clear sea to swim in and an incredible environment. The two bars were very well furnished with some good acts on the evening. Live music, dancers, and other entertainment. The best night of the holiday was the silent disco, we all had a blast!! A nice selection of cocktails too. The staff absolutely made the holiday. So many friendly smiling faces with impeccable service. Ala in Thea’s bar was so helpful and friendly, keeping us well topped up with drinks. Nizar the waiter in the restaurant was so kind, making us feel special every day. And Srine in the kitchen made beautiful crafted desserts and cooked up some very tasty crepes, donuts and churros served fresh. She has such an infectious smile! All in all, I would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone considering it. Let this be your sign to go! Even in November at the very end of the season, it was the best holiday ever. We visited the last week of October. We had a lovely week and felt utterly spoilt. We enjoyed eating outside everyday and our waiter Arnou was fabulous! All the staff were friendly and the choice of food was excellent. It was lovely to wake up to a sea view every morning.
