Meem Townhouse

Meem Townhouse, just the cutest little place to stay, our room was amazing, the bed was so comfy and the breakfast was fantastic, you could chose from the fresh selection of bread, meats and fruit as well as have something cooked for you. The owner (sorry, I have forgotten your name) was helpful and full of suggestions on things to do. The room was very spacious and modern, Meem had a home from home feel to it. Soller as a town has a lot going on, very touristy and I am glad we were there in September and not July/August, the streets are small (hire a little car) and the parking is non-existent so if you have a car, definitly book a parking space with Meem Townhouse, there is a small charge but worth it. The tram to the beach is easy and so is the train into Palma. I would not hesitate recommending Meem Townhouse and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

I loved the place. It has a very relaxing feel as soon as you walk in. Everything is high quality with tons of taste! A lot of care and attention to detail to make sure guests have the perfect stay (for example, beach towels and a beach bag, marshal speaker, best mattress, amazing shower)

I had my wedding at Sant Bartomeu Cathedral in Soller last 15 March so I thought that I book myself a suite by myself the night before so that I could have a beauty and stress-free rest before my big day. What happened was a horrible nightmare! The morning of my wedding, the photographers came in as quietly as possible mindful of the other guests still sleeping. The lady manager ( I assumed) banged at my door and told us to be quiet twice and even berated and shouted at me, the photographers, and members of my family (who came to assist me to get ready). It was very embarrassing and degrading! I was close to tears but later on realised that I had to stay strong. The treatment we received was nothing we have ever experienced before. If indeed we were too noisy (we were doing our utmost best to be as quiet as possible), we could have been told in a respectful way and not shouted at. Right in the middle of my wedding ceremony, they even sent us a message telling us to check out immediately as they needed to clean the room, so my aunt had to leave the church to do just that. If this is the attitude of the hotel to its guests, then it has no right to be in the hospitality business especially right in the heart of Soller. It was too bad as the room was lovely. However, I strongly believe that the hotel can only be as good as their members of staff. Customer service is beyond terrible! In contrast, several members of my family/entourage who stayed at another hotel near the church were treated with respect by the members of staff who even wished them all well for the day (I will post a separate review).

Fantastic Place, comfortable room, awesome breakfast. Great location for exploring the area. Short walk to the train/tram station. Many restaurants within walking distance. It was not the easiest location to find, make sure to check on parking when you book your stay, know that it is a couple blocks away. We had a car but didn't move it during our stay in Soller. The area is great to explore on foot. Highly recommend this location.

Meem townhouse is utterly stunning. As soon as you enter you're a world away from the bustling streets of soller, and into a cool, minimalist, Mediterranean dream! There's no reception here, so it feels very homely. Bare plaster walls, cool concrete floors and an emphasis on local materials - it's so beautiful. We switched rooms half way through our stay due to availability, but it was so gorgeous to be able to see two of the rooms here. Both were spacious, stylish and calming. Beautiful bathrooms and super comfortable beds! Downstairs is an honesty bar where you can help yourself at all times to wine, beautiful cakes, fruit and cold water. Breakfast is served in the same space, which is fabulous. Would be brilliant if they maybe had a few more vegan options as noticed there wasn't much in the way of dairy / meat free options, but I'm sure they would be happy to oblige. The staff that are there in the morning are so, so lovely. Great garden, great feel to the space...amazing location. I'm gushing, but it deserves it! Only slight criticism would be that the door handles are SO hard to turn, so if you've got any limited mobility that may be something diddy to note! The doors in general are a bit of a nightmare as they are so thin too, so you can hear everything early morning / evening, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a tiny complaint. Book it, you absolutely will not regret it. We can't wait to come back.
