Soller Garden

I stayed at the beautiful Soller Garden for 6 days. Although it is only a 1 star hotel, I was completely satisfied. The breakfast is very varied and delicious and the staff absolutely friendly and always in a good mood. I loved to listen to the singing of the birds and as well to the singing of the cleaning lady every day😊 As my 2 friends were unfortunately only able to book at short notice, they stayed in another 4-star hotel at the port, where we often met in their room and on their terrace and had a drink at the hotel bar together. I also wanted to show them the Soller Garden one day, I had just popped in to take something I bought at the market at Sóller to my bungalow and we thought we could get a drink at the bar after as we were planning to come back later this year and if possible stay together at this place. Unfortunately, I was told at the bar that my friend and her husband were not allowed to go to the bungalow with me due to the privacy of the customers and that it is also not allowed for strangers not staying at the house to have a drink at the bar with a guest of the hotel. We were very surprised, it says that nowhere, it was in the afternoon at 4pm and I didn't see any other guests on the way to the bungalow or in the bar. I just wanted to show them how clean and beautiful my bungalow was and that something like this would be really suitable for our next stay. The three of us thought that was a real shame, as it would have been an advert for this hotel and they were really interested in having a quick look. And there was no misunderstanding because the woman at the bar, my two friends and I speak the same native language. Everything else at Soller Garden was perfect except for this experience.

Just got back from a a week here and I would HIGHLY recommend! The staff were so so lovely smiley and helpful. The breakfast is incredible totally unexpected a proper buffet with even a couple of hot options and so tasty and changed each day. The pool and surroundings were so clean and pretty it's like a little oasis walking through to your bungalows. So close to the port and bus station 10min walk at most. The bungalows aka glamping sheds were cute. They were basic had a wardrobe and dressing table couple of plug sockets. We missed having drawers and long length mirror hence the 4*. Yep there is no a/c but you have a ceiling fan and standing fan sounded like you were on the beach.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay here. Can't fault it for what we paid. Rooms basic but clean. Beds very comfortable and shower has good pressure. It was 36 degrees when we stayed and the room did not have air conditioning but the ceiling fan and floor standing fan worked well. The staff are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area great to relax around after exploring the island. The sangria is the best I've had in a long time. I'll be back when next on Mallorca. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very basic wooden sheds with lots of creepy crawling insects on the floor no double beds in them no kettle,tv,wifi awful,outdated needs refurbishment the boss very abruct and appears to be watching every move and listening to conversations amongst guests can't take own drinks and food around pool area 😪 unfortunately won't be returning

The hotel is in a great location, the breakfast was very good and the pool and pool area were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However the bungalows are really shabby. They were clean and functional but suffocating in the heat making it difficult to get a good night's rest. They were also very dark inside which together with the oppressive heat felt really depressing. Perhaps the concrete shutters could be removed from the windows and both windows and door could be cheaply fitted with a lockable mosquito screen which would mean that they could be open overnight to let some fresh air in whilst maintaining some security and stopping the mozzies from coming in.

I’ve just returned after spending 6 nights here. Wish I could have stayed longer. The location is great. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and port and 1 minute to the local bus station. The setting of Sóller Garden is lovely. Lots of pretty chalets in pleasant grounds. Very peaceful…….apart from a nearby owl haha 😂. Chalets are very basic but that’s fine by me. I don’t want a tv and kettle and all the other bits that bump the cost up. Small bathroom with a very hot shower, two fans in bed area were adequate for my needs. Chalets cleaned everyday and towels and sheets changed a few times during my stay. The pool is area is vey nice. The sun beds, brollies and pool furniture were all of very good quality. The area was always spotless. Well stocked bar with friendly staff. The bar also provides pizzas and Toasties during opening hours. The dining room is a good size. You get allocated a table according to your chalet number which is a good idea. For a one star rating the breakfast options were excellent. Lots of variation and served by a lovely smiling lady who liked to sing 🎶. I see complaints that ppl not happy that you can’t take food out of the dining room but this is par for the course in most hotels. I’m already planning a return here next year. Only negative is I would have liked a small fridge in my chalet.
