"My wife and I visited the day spa including breakfast. Staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was very enjoyable and offered a good selection of cheese, meats, bread, yoghurts, fruit and cooked options. El hotel ofrece también té de tarde con una deliciosa gama de tortas de casa y estrude a precios razonables. La sala de botas de piso era muy agradable, con un calentador privado y calentadores de botas. Usamos el spa, que tenía duchas, cuarto de vapor, sauna y camas de agua, así como salas de estar. Nota que la sauna está desnuda. La mayoría de los restaurantes y tiendas son sólo efectivo. La estación de autobuses de esquí gratis está justo fuera del hotel, que fue muy conveniente. El esquí puede mantenerse en la tienda de alquiler por un coste adicional. Los ascensores y la zona de esquí fueron fantásticos. Nos limitaron sólo por la enorme caída de nieve en ir más lejos. La ciudad está a 10 minutos a pie de la colina. No hay muchas tiendas o bares, sino un gran Spa en la orilla de la ciudad para cualquier provisiones. El esquí en las tiendas locales es muy caro. No un resort para compras o vida nocturna, pero eso nos acomoda como familia."

"Just returned from a fabulours stay at the Alpengasthof. The hotel is situated immediately on the slopes a short drive up the mountain, perfect location for ski to and from hotel. The hotel is full of charm and exceeds all expectations of a mountain hotel. The bedroom was warm with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the slopes. The shower was amazing, one of the best. A bonus being able to park at the hotel. The holiday included breakfast and evening meal, both of which were lovely, breakfast included hot options, fresh bread, yogurts, cold meats, cereals and fruit, the evening meal was a four course meal with choice of main course, each dish was tasty. The staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. We enjoyed skiing the Ski Welt, the slopes were well maintained and plenty of long challenging runs. We loved our stay and will be returning."

Conclusion: Here, the extra costs are being made beyond the point of pain. About the hotel: 2-star standard, old rooms. Everything is full of old stuff. The owner must be a mess. Staff: inflexible. Although the restaurant was empty, we were seated at a table in the middle with another couple. The tables by the bright window (and thus in the fresh air) were all free. You should definitely avoid this place."

"We arrived to a very warm welcome. Our room was spacious and warm. The evening meals were excellent. Mrs Weinbaur and Mrs. Hagmann worked in the restaurant and we could not fault them. They were friendly and happy at all times. A very personal service, thank you. We would certainly recommend the hotel. Also a thank you to Petra, such a character, full of life and so cheerful."
