The experience on reaching was horrible regarding meals. The food was almost finished and there was no one to look after the refill. The Food Manager (Mr Basant Pandey) whose name was written there was missing too. We immediately decided to chk out seeing the horrible state of management. Met the overall Manager Mr Ishan Sharma, who immediately took note of the situation , apologised and called Mr Basant Pandey and appraised him. Mr Pandey showed no regrets leave aside hope of atleast an apology to guest. Finally Mr Ishan Sharma ensured that the food is served in the room. Mr Ishan Sharma thereafter ensured that we had no discomfort thereon and he also not only shared by also responded immediately on his personal no. The food situation was better on rest of the days and the entire credit goes to Mr Ishan Sharma, the serving hosts namely Ms Simran, Mr Mandeep, Mr Vikram Ms Pratap Singh and the bar tender . Despite huge rush and load , these persons were always on their toes with a big smile irrespective of how few foolish spoke to them. Kudos to their service and patience. Even the chef came out all the time asking about taste, flavours and customisation (if needed). But Mr Basant Pandey , whose name is written in colours in the dining area was never seen to be present during breakfast, lunch and dinner time. The indoor activities are limited . Incase good no of people come they don’t have adequate seats, limited game options and even some are chargeable too. There is no pool in the property. You have to wit for 10-15 mts for cart to arrive to pic you up so keep that margin in time. The room was beautiful with balcony . The room was well clean but for 2 days no one picked up the used cutlery from outside the room despite staff moving around and despite CCTVs around. That was really bad and unhygienic ! The Cocktails were well made, reasonably priced and served with a smile. Overall it was a relaxing holiday with everything well organised and well serviced and for that the big credit goes to Mr Ishan Sharma (Manager) who settled us in good way. Infact He was always seen taking care of all customer needs and at one stage we even almost decided to take membership. However the behaviour and conduct of Mr Basant Pandey made us decide NOT TO OPT FOR CLUBE MAHENDRA MEMBERSHIP as we did not want to stuck for another 25 yrs under his failed care and services and would rather like to enjoy other resorts on that belt as well.
