Samsara Luxury Cottages & Spa, Chail Hills

Excellent property in a serene location near Kandaghat, far away from the overcrowded tourist hubs of Himachal. Took 2.5 hours of driving from Chandigarh. It is not very high altitude-wise, so the weather was sunny when we visited in May. They have an incredible infinity pool that overlooks the mountains and this was the highlight of our stay! Because of low occupancy, we had the pool to ourselves all day every day :) We stayed in room #101, which was on the upper level and had the best view. I would recommend this over the jacuzzi rooms tbh. Spa services are pricey but good. Billiards is chargeable, but other games like TT, foosball, carrom are free to use in their activity room. Staff is lovely. Food was good, but flavours can be improved esp in Himachali dishes which tasted kinda generic. The lawns are beautiful, and the views all around are extremely soothing to city-weary eyes! I would recommend this place for a romantic summer staycation if you just need to unwind and leave the world behind. Try to visit midweek —- you might luck out like we did and have the whole place to yourself :)

Samsara Cottage is pure bliss. Cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—it felt like a perfect escape from the chaos. The hosts were warm, the vibes immaculate, and every detail felt thoughtful. Waking up to birds and fresh air was magical. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for a soul-refreshing stay!

The hospitality was top-notch, with the owner personally ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. The staff was courteous, and the room service was prompt and efficient. The rooms were spotless and offered breathtaking views. The food was absolutely delicious, making every meal a delight. From start to finish, everything was perfect.Highly recommended!

Loved the place, and service. Wonderful staff, beautiful property, large airy and clean rooms. This place ticked all the boxes.

I visited this resort with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. They have significant parking issues, which made it inconvenient. The food was subpar and not up to standard. If you're considering a massage, be aware that it is outsourced to an unprofessional group. Additionally, the manager offered compensation but later charged us for it, which was quite frustrating.

The staff was great. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions⭐️ The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable🥇 Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere🌼 Their service is marked by efficiency and punctuality. Thank you Team samsara❤️ We loved it❤️
