Was really looking forward to my stay at the Kensington Hotel Seorak. But when I pay $263AU / night I have a certain expectation that a 4 star hotel will live up to the hype. The service at the check-in desk and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself exudes 'history' and it was interesting spending time looking at the library, hallways and various displays on offer. The menus were adequate for our stay and we spent 29000KRW on the chicken and beer offer on the first night and the steak and wine (120000KRW) on the second night. Breakfasts were 29000KRW/pp or 10% off if you book at check-in were also value for money. However several aspects let the hotel down. Hot water was hard to get - I tried for an afternoon shower and again at midnight with no luck. Larger hotels in Korea tend to have central control over the air conditioning, so if you like a cool room you'll be out of luck by October?? Even having the small window open, and turning of the 'air conditioning, the room was stuffy. Having found a laundry bag and order form I was told that the hotel no longer offered that service. Disappointing. The towels were worn / frayed on the edges (they've passed their useabe date) and though the hotel room we were in had a great view the windows were so grubby it was hard to really enjoy the view. While I appreciate COVID has had an impact on the hotel industry generally, I'm pretty certain that the Kensington, with its views and proximity to Seoraksan, faired better than most. While I would stay here again I would like to think that for prime pricing the Kensington could up its game and ensure that such small issues were addressed.

The amount I paid for our three days staying at the hotel paid off. Its cleanness and amenities were excellent, its location to the nearby restaurant was very convenient. The ocean view was phenomenal. Parking guide was there 24/7 and I liked it very much. The front desk girls were very nice and polite. I strongly recommend this place to anyone. Five stars rated plus

La habitación que reservaba tenía sólo toallas, agua, secadoras, no Netflix, no pantalones, no ropas ~ Si te quedas durante la noche, ponga la toalla que usabas ese día en frente de la puerta y colga la toalla y el agua en el anillo de la puerta el día siguiente! No podía comer el desayuno porque dije que no comía en la mañana Fue bueno porque lo utilicé bien para el coste

지인을 만나기 위해 속초 숙박업체를 찾는 중 위치와 가성비를 고려하여 CF모텔을 예약했어요. 시설은 오래된 듯하나 리모델링을 하여 괜찮았어요. 주변에 식당도 많아 다니기에도 좋았습니다.

El hotel está muy cerca de la montaña de Snowyu, abre la ventana y lee el paisaje de su manzo. El desayuno es el restaurante de Gary de Corea del Sur, necesita una cita previa, el corazón del chef vale la pena de un segundo. Si tienes la oportunidad, seguirás estacionando la próxima vez.

위치는 좋았고 언덕위에있어서 뷰가 정말 좋았어요. 그런데 3인예약인데 슬리퍼 타월 생수등 셋팅이 3인으로 되어있지않아서 프론트에 요청했는데 예약자체를 3인으로 했는데 사과는커녕 그래서 더 필요하단거죠? 꼭 더 달라는 취급받아서 기분이 썩 좋지는 않았어요. 기본이 않되있는곳입니다. 오래된곳이나 리모델링 되었고 룸이 어둡습니다.그럼에도 오션뷰가 다 합니다. 그외엔 설악항이 길건너라서 편리했고 사우나수질이 좋았어요.
