Antiguo Hotel, ubicado en la cima de las montañas de snowshoe, con estructura muy peculiar, totalmente de madera y muy bien preparado tanto para la temporada de invierno como para la época de verano. Además de las tradicionales habitaciones doble y sencilla, tiene una suite que fácilmente pueden ocupar hasta 10 personas, es un Departamento muy bien equipada,tres dormitorios, tres baños comedor, una sala de estar con chimenea , totalmente equipada con cocina, lavaplatos, lavadora y secadora Es un Hotel muy tradicional con ambientes amplios, con piscina de agua caliente abierta al medio ambiente y con acceso directo a la plaza principal de Snowshoe drive

We recently visited Snowshoe for the first time and stayed at Allegheny Springs (Room 214). Our experience was fantastic! Welcoming/helpful staff at the front desk, kind ski instructors for our boys, and friendly staff at the ski lifts. We are a family of four (boys ages 11 and 14) and stayed in a studio room. It was very clean, had been updated, and the kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to store our skis in the locker room and having such close proximity to the slopes! Other reviews may make you shy away from Allegheny Springs, but we had a fantastic experience and do not think our experience was an anomaly.

Allegheny Springs is the premiere property at Snowshoe Ski Resort. We stayed in unit #308 so check out the pictures below. This is an awesome ski resort in the West Virginia mountains. Allegheny Springs has it's own large swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, work out room and even valet service for vehicles. Check in directly at the front desk and access your room from one of the four different elevators in this complex. Each condo has it's own dedicated locker for ski gear and the slope is literally steps outside that locker area. We have been skiing here since the 1980's and it's always like escaping from reality.

We rented a nice studio. The room was nice and clean. The view of the village was perfect. There are some odd smells through the building. Parking isn't great, and the valets (weren't here today). During the week was it quite but on the weekend kids were screaming up and down the halls. We ran out of wash clothes through our stay and the desk told us they didn't hand any out we had to go wash them. After paying over a $100 cleaning fee I have a problem washing my own towels and wash clothes.

Room had a terrible odor. I opened windows to air out the room, but that didn’t help. Front desk gave me disinfectant spray, so I sprayed down the whole room which helped or at least changed the smell to “ode de disinfectant”. Furniture is stained and has holes, scratches. When I confirmed the booking, they said the room had a full refrigerator with a freezer, this one has a hotel sized refrigerator. Parking for the hotel is down the hill and across the street in the public parking lot...quite a walk to the hotel. Would not recommend for the price they charge!

We were told this was the newest hotel on snowshoe Mountain. Given that I think we set our expectations too high because it wasn't that nice. The chairs in the lobby were dirty and dated the room had the most disgusting comforter on it. I immediately threw it on the floor. It had a stain on it. The rest of the room seemed clean enough when we booked the room on the phone. The lady mentioned that the fees, including the taxes were just as much as the room rate. However, she failed to tell me that for staying one night at this hotel it was a $93 cleaning fee find out that just had a principal alone I would not have stayed there. That's ridiculous $300 to stay one night at this hotel was not worth it and this was during the summer. I can't imagine what it cost in the winter time but I won't find out because I will not return. We got a lukewarm welcome from the two ladies when we checked in. Luckily, later on Liam and Jack were very friendly. Not the place for me not for $300 a night.

Nice room service. Clean rooms. I really enjoyed the vibe. I’m only 2 days into my stay but so far I’ve really enjoyed my experience. Everyone is polite, respectful, and there’s no noise from other guest.

The hotel is lovely and situated right on the mountain (ski in ski out) at the Ballhooter lift/slope. Good ski equipment storage room in the basement; easy walk out to the slopes. Front Office staff are wonderful, professional and congenial; always trying to help and giving the best service possible. Special thanks to Jack Cummins Manager. Rooms are lovely and quaint; we had a nice view of the wet area (pool and hot tubs) on the ground floor. The pool and hot tubs were awesome for apres ski muscle soaking and relaxation. Thank you front office staff!!

Condo 125 Great Location. Just got back from four days at Allegany Springs #125. We hit the weather just right this year and the skiing was awesome. I was a little hesitant to book this at first because it was still available this late in the year. I am glad I did. This unit is just steps away from the hot tub, the slopes and the village. I hope it’s available next year!
