Skopelos Holidays Hotel & Spa

We stayed in a bungalow which shared a pool with another bungalow. The bungalow was very clean and had plenty of hanging space. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived. Also the fridge was restocked with water daily. I did have to ask for the area around the pool to be swept as there was a lot of loose gravel. Also this area could have really done with some tlc. but hopefully this will be addressed. The staff were so friendly and always very helpful. A 15 minute stroll down to the port and a taxi back for 5 euros 👍🏻 The hidden gem for me was ‘ The Spa. It was away from view but so worth a visit. The treatment rooms were large and delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our massages.

Exxeptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Clean and peaceful generally. Our junior suite with private pool was very modern with nice touches such as remote-operated curtains and a very quiet aircon, striking décor, and had a distant sea view. The pool itself is beautifully clean and inviting, as is the large general pool. A few notes on possible improvements to the room: 1. Storage space rather limited. There is room for extra shelving next to the hanging space if the full length mirror is moved. 2. The private pools and lounging areas aren't exactly private. Some tasteful screening between the pools would help. (There are 4 in a row.) 3. There is a very upmarket coffee machine, kettle and a supply of teas and coffee pods. However, the tea and coffee are only replenished on request. Also, only paper cups are provided, and also not replenished once used. In the end we 'stole' ceramic cups from the breakfast room. Not really acceptable for a 5* establishment. 4. The pebble finish around the basin, although very attractive, is not conducive to standing any small-based toiletries on. Again, a couple of shelves would help here. 5. There are no towel rails or rings, or even hooks. Towels must be put back on a shelf, or taken outside to dry. 6. The key card has to be inserted into a slot in the room for the electricity to be turned on. If you leave for the day, the contents of the bar fridge don't stay cold, unless you acquire a second card. 7. There is no information on how things work in the room. Some sort of booklet would be helpful. Having said that, we still had a wonderful stay here. The island of Skopelos is beautiful and there are lots of things to see and do.

We stayed at the Skopelos Hotel and Spa for one night after taking the ferry from Skiathos, and overall, we had a great experience. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and our suite with a private pool was beautiful. We can’t fault the room or the hotel itself. However, I’d suggest not expecting a five-star experience—while the place is gorgeous, it doesn't quite meet five-star standards. I feel like branding it as a four-star would exceed most guests' expectations. Still, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a lovely place!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel during our visit to Skopelos. We received a very warm welcome and the service provided by the staff throughout our stay was exceptional. The tranquility here is on another level. Remember - you are your environment. Thank you - John & Fiona.

Overall the hotel was a five star experience with helpful friendly staff. In particular our private tour of Skopelos for the Mamma Mia experience with our driver Nick was excellent. He was a careful driver around the windy roads and his knowledge of the island, together with his charming personality, made it a day to remember.
