Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa

Great location great accommodation fabulous staff. Excellent food and service. Bus stop no 8 outside takes you into town in 15 mins for 2 euro or to many beaches down the coast for 3 euro. Great relaxing holiday. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Kassandra Bay Hotel. We had a double sea view room which was contemporary spacious and clean, the sea view was amazing and it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the boats. The room was cleaned to a high standard with fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a good shower and toiletries. The buffet breakfast had very good selection of hot and cold food, including omelettes, the chef making these was very pleasant and always had a chat. All the staff very helpful and friendly. We ate in the olive restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Both pool areas were pleasant and you could always get a sun-bed at the pools or the hotel beach, pool towels were provided. The water taxi made it so easy to get into Skiathos town no waiting for full buses. You can also walk to town it takes about 30 minute. We have been to Skiathos many times and found this one of the most relaxing stays. We have already booked for next year. Many thanks for a lovely stay

It's not a Tui owned hotel so their rating should be a little more accurate. The room itself was antiquated & in particular the bathroom which had one of the smallest baths we've seen & you had to climb into it to get a shower.5 star?Not a chance,There was virtually no entertaintment apart from a saxophonist who turned up on a Monday.5 Star?No way.In fact we found the dining room to be be the best place for entertainment with the regular eveningevent of how many cakes can one get on a small plate competion & not forgetting the under 5's who can scream the loudest competition. I must add that the staff were amazing & the food excellent so no complaints there. Finally we must mention the beach as we must worn people that unless you are able bodied there is no access.5 star?No way Wake up Tui & give it a proper rating!

The hotel was great , everything we had hoped it would be and perhaps a little bit nicer than the brochure had shown . Our room duplex family room had a fantastic sea view . Room was very comfortable . The only very minor detail , we found the pillows a bit hard but that is just down to personal preference and we all like something different . Breakfast was varied and tasty . Staff helpful and friendly . Pools were both nice and at the beginning of Sept usually a lounger free . The beach was great with the waiter service being amazing . Again , usually a lounger but to get a choice needed to be there for 9 ish . People do reserve with towels but again this time of year wasn’t a problem . The boat taxi was so useful and a great experience , with times being appropriate . We didn’t get a bus as they came along very busy . Cab home but boat taxi as well . As an animal lover I was pleased to see that a rescue exists to support the cats on the island. Some cats are residents in the grounds of the hotel and wished I had asked sooner as the hotel take care of them . A notice to guests advising of that would have eased my conscience . Apparently and thankfully I wasn’t the only concerned guest . Mind you I was told they put food and water out 3 times a day but that wasn’t the case as two days I filled up the water bowls but hey ho they are looked after as sorts .

This is an outstanding hotel. The service and staff were great. Pros: location. Whilst it’s not in the main town, the bus stop is just outside and the service is fairly good. The buses run past midnight. Taking the water taxi from the beach to town is an experience that adds to the holiday! Accommodation Very good standard of decoration and maintenance. Our room was the lowest cost option ( last minute holiday and was the only option!) but looked like new. It was clean, everything worked and I love the insect screen that allows the sliding doors to be kept open. Food The breakfast buffet had a huge range of local and international food options. It was all fresh and omelettes to order were available. It was great that breakfast was available to 11am too! Cons: Location Nearest supermarket is 15 mins west, up and down a hill. As the hotel doesn’t have a shop, this was the nearest option for water etc. Accommodation 5* would include a kettle in the room for me. It was available for €20 though. Food: Free water in the room each day ( not just on arrival) would have been appreciated.

Overall excellent - just a few niggles - no teaspoons ever served with tea and yet coffee was served with tea spoons. Badly placed mirrors in adjoining rooms meant we could see into each other’s rooms if blinds were open. Wardrobes were not able to cope with longer dresses. Obviously designed by a man. These are meant as helpful points. Should not detract from a lovely week. Fantastic location, super staff, great food and generous helpings. Reasonable costs for a hotel of this quality. I am happy to give an overall 5 star rating.
