The travel lodge was very clean the shower was very powerful
The amenities were limited as we had to go out for food we could have had a cereal breakfast but didn't fancy that

No amenities in walking distance, from the travelodge very reclusive. Not very inviting with an abandoned building in front of the travelodge. Very poor lighting for the car park security cctv at this location. Move my vehicle to another location in the parking lot at night when I could see which lights were left on or working. Unfortunately the outside area look overall very tired

Superb - the room was immaculate and freshly made up. The hotel itself seems looked after and in good order. The staff at reception couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. A fantastic hotel which ticks all of the boxes of a place to stay. Comfortable beds and quiet in general.

Vaughan was very helpful on arrival Had an issue which he sorted Hotel room was clean and basic did the job Ok for a night or two Bit out the way which meant taxis into town which are the most expensive I’ve ever used 21 pound for under 3 miles Buts needs must

The worst travelodge experience ever. I stay at three travelodge hotels per week as I travel the country for my work. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The staff were grumpy and rude. The bed was so uncomfortable that it gave me a bad back and my wife a bad neck when we arose bleary eyed after a terrible night of no sleep. The mattress and pillows were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced across the travelodge brand. At 6am an articulated lorry came delivering goods right outside our window with reversing alarm, banging and clattering, workmen’s raised voices etc. Of course we were rushed out of our room by same rude lady from reception. All in all we will abandon the travelodge brand after this experience.

Arrived to a very clean and tidy room - and extremely comfortable beds with the best pillows I’ve had in any hotel. Very quiet hotel as well. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a short but pleasant stay - will stay again in the future.

Needs more promotion and better signage as hidden from main A1 so more people would use it. Looks a little tired as I feel it's being neglected as not on main A1 anymore
