Positive Aspects: The reception staff were friendly and accommodating at check-in, which created a welcoming first impression. Our apartment was spacious, well-equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, and offered stunning sea views. The location was convenient, with a supermarket nearby. Areas for Improvement: Air-conditioning/heating issues: The unit in the master bedroom was not operational. Despite two visits from an engineer, the issue remained unresolved, and we were provided with a portable heater as a temporary solution. Water quality concerns: The water in all upstairs bathrooms was brown. Although reported to reception, the issue persisted until a second follow-up. Pool heating: The pool was advertised as heated, yet it was too cold to use during our stay. Early morning noise disturbances: On our fourth night, we were woken at 6 AM by cleaners in the adjacent apartment, with noise continuing for over an hour. Check-out policy: The 10 AM check-out time is unusually early compared to other hotels. Given the issues we faced, it was disappointing to be charged an additional 40 Euros to extend our stay until 1 PM. On-site restaurant: The restaurant was rarely open, lacked ambiance, and did not offer much appeal. We waited 90 minutes for food despite approx only 10 other people being in the restaurant at the time. It seems to be closed every Thursday.

We stayed here early Oct 2024, two couples in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit 12C located directly over the office. We had a large balcony with an amazing view overlooking the property and sea. The units were well equipped, bedrooms a little small, but fine. One bedroom faced the highway side so there was some traffic noise at night. But not too bad. We probably could have drowned it out if we ran the AC but we didn’t. The front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful all week. With check in, check out, and anything we needed. Pool was heated and nice. Not crowded. Spent most of our time on beach. You can rent a tiki umbrella and 2 lounge chairs for 14 euros for the day from the restaurant next door. We loved the boardwalk! You can walk to restaurants in either direction. Be sure to take a flashlight, it’s dark on the way back at night. They leave you one in your unit. It’s nice having a grocery store right across the street you can walk to. Great central location to stay in. We rented a car for the week 320 euros. Explored Malaga, Old Town Marbella, Ronda, Estepona. Even took the ferry over to Morocco for the day. Great trip!

We arrived home yesterday after a three week stay at Leila Playa. It's wonderful. The views from our apartment were stunning. We had two terraces. The apartment was sparkling clean. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities on the small resort are great with a gym, sauna, steam room and a heated outdoor pool. The restaurant on site has a good menu again with lovely staff. Happy Hour every evening from 6 to 7 pm. We have booked for next year.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with my Sisters for a week. Apartment very well equipped with aircon, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker etc. Plenty of towels with separate pool towels. Pool area was lovely in the midst of flowers and waterfalls, the pool was heated which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and we availed of the great Happy Hour most evenings. Bars and restaurants a walk along the promenade which was accessed from a gate and was beachfront. Only slight negative was we were not informed that there was no cleaning service during our stay but this may have been Easyjets error rather than Leila Playas. We didn't mind, emptied bins, made beds and bought toilet rolls once we realised. Took the hassle out of wondering what time cleaner would come! The busy motorway at the front of the apartments would create a dubious first impression but don't be put off. Lidl can be accessed over a footbridge and behind the Apartments frontage reveals an oasis. Enjoy!

Overall the hotel is what you expect for the money. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. It was outdated and need of some work. Bathroom door when closed locked it self and you couldn’t get in. Wardrobe door fell off as all The hinges are broken. Sofa bed was falling apart as the holiday went on. But saying all this - it is clean and comfortable. Only had room service once in two weeks. You could ask for towels from reception. Restaurant is poor. Doesn’t open until 12 - expensive and all the food seems reheated, Closing time varied - one night closed at 8.15. Definitely the money has been spent on making the reception area look nice. We had two apartments in our family party and the one bed was a similar experience with it looking outdated. The real positives- location - next to the sea and a great harbour twenty minutes walk. The pool is lovely - great temperature and was never overall busy. Washing machine and other appliances a real plus. Reception and maintenance staff really friendly and helpful. Be warned - you need to pay for the electricity you use. Ours was around £75 for two weeks- but we were turning off the AC during the night. As it stands the costs is just about right- if it was to go up then the apartments need looking at.
