Olivi Hotel & Natural Spa

We recently traveled (early April 2025) to Northern Italy from the United States for a birthday celebration. We arrived to the Olivi Hotel as our second destination in the early afternoon. We were well-treated by the hotel staff during check-in. We were given several recommendations for lunch in the local shopping area and we were happy to walk down the hill for lunch and shopping. After several hours (including both lunch and dinner), we returned to the hotel for drinks at the bar and were delightfully treated with local spritzes and beer. There were cats around the property and inside the public space, including the bar area, of the hotel. The cats are very nice and most are playful. Our party sat, had drinks and played with the cats. It's clearly a very charming part of the property. We ultimately retired to our rooms and learned that the air conditioning had not been turned on yet within the hotel. It was unseasonably warm outside (which was great for our trip) but also made the rooms unseasonably room for sleeping. We ultimately opened the windows and enjoyed the cooler night air. For us, it made a great experience once we opened the windows. The room was otherwise fantastic and we slept well. The following morning, we were treated to a very nice breakfast buffett that was better than expected. The second day was similar to the first day. We were well-treated by staff who had recommendations for us about potential activities. Later in the day, we returned to the hotel, sat at the bar and played with the cat. Ultimately, our stay at the Olivi Hotel was excellent. We would highly recommend. The cats, for us, were very positive but should be noted if severe allergies are present. The cats were not present in the eating areas, the public halls or hotel rooms. The only other mildly negative comment was related to the spa options available. We did not arrange spa reservations prior to arriving at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were told that there were no available times for us at the spa either of the days that we stayed at the Olivi Hotel. We did not visit the hotel for the spa so it was not a problem but if you desire this experience, I would plan to pre-book to ensure you have the possibility. Altogether, highly recommend. It was an experience that will be hard to forget.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Firstly the reception staff are completely rude to myself and my 12 year old son (it’s almost like we can’t be bothered here). Secondly if you dislike cats and dogs everywhere don’t go here, I obviously expect them in the street or even outside the hotel but they come into the hotel bar and lay on the sofas when you are eating and having a drink (the staff even stroke them, bring them food and then serve you drinks). We also had to switch rooms as there were flies all over the floor dead and alive and also mini spiders walking on the ceiling, they don’t have their act together here, I would AVOID This is not a 4 star hotel this is more of a 2-3 star tops.

Excellent, friendly and relaxed hotel in a beautiful location. We had the balcony room with fantastic views of Lake Garda and Sirmione. Staff were really friendly and made everyone feel as you’d expect from a top hotel. The decor and finishes throughout were first class and spotless. Pet friendly also, now that’s making the difference. So nice. Highly recommended and we will revisit ASAP.

We stayed at the Olivi for 2 nights . The bar looks amazing with friendly bar men and a good selection of drinks and snacks . The room we stayed in was modern and spacious . One of the nice touches there was to the room was you got a TV with channels including Netflix YouTube and way more . The pool was surrounded by nice flowers and plants . I would recommend staying here and would not hesitate to come back .

We arrived for our honeymoon, both our first time in Italy, and we were upgraded to a larger room with a view of the lake. The decor is so fashionable, and the hotel is immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, and even in rainy weather the views from the hotel are stunning. The spa is fantastic, and so relaxing. The room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed. The bar in reception offers a wide range of refreshing drinks. The hotel is just by the lake, and close to several fantastic restaurants and bars. As an added bonus, the hotel has 5 cats who provide a feline welcome to guests (if you’re into that sort of thing) cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are looking for a relaxing break for a few days.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful spa. The accommodations were very old world but very up to date. Our rooms were immaculate. The spa was modest in size but well able to accommodate the limited number of people. (You need to reserve a 3 hour block.) There are 3 pools, outside (not part of spa) and salt water outside (part of spa) and inside the spa. The two spa pools are very warm maybe 35 degrees Celsius, or just below body temperature. My wife and I had treatments, which were great. My massage was especially good. A special shout out to the hotel staff, especially Niky, who were always willing to do just a little bit extra to make our stay enjoyable. Note: lake views are really great if you can spring for the upgrade.
