Staybridge Suites Sioux City Southeast

We got two rooms here and stayed for one night. The hotel is very clean, modern and looks new. Rooms are huge, with a big bedroom are, a big kitchen area along with a electric stove top. The pool is big along with a nice hot tub. There’s a nice gazebo area outside to hang out. Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, nothing special but good. Price was better than most places and it’s close to many restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Sioux City.

There was a large group of adults and children in the breakfast area until almost 11pm being very loud and disruptive. Children running up and down the halls and yelling in halls. I witnessed a guest at the desk trying to talk to the night clerk about the noise and issues with the group. The clerk told the female guest if she had a problem she was more than welcome to tell them to be quiet. The female guest replied something to the fact that its not her job as the guest to ask them to be quiet. The clerk then continued to taunt the guest and tell her things like come on we can go together and tell them, ( treating the guest like a child) she kept saying its not her job to babysit adult guests. When the female guest did say something the desk clerk stood there clapping her hands and mocking the guest saying how proud of her she was. The guest said to her again that it is the desk clerks job to up hold the policy of hotel not the other guests and that she would be contacting the Manager, the desk clerk condescendingly said let me know when you do so I can be there. The clerk was very demeaning and condescending to the female and should be embarrassed of her actions. If this is the kind of people you have representing your hotel it leaves a lot to be desired about wanting to stay.
