Staying at Atha Resort was nothing short of perfection. Our suite was absolutely stunning—spacious, elegant, and surrounded by tranquil greenery that made it feel like a private retreat. Every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find service that feels so personal. If you're looking for peaceful luxury with heartwarming hospitality, Atha Resort is a must. We'd return in a heartbeat.

Overall we had a great stay the rooms are very nice , the pool beautiful and the staff willing to please. The best rooms are the top floor rooms looking into the garden or looking towards the rock itself It’s hard to tell but seems to be the nicest place in Sigirya . I did lots of walking and never saw anywhere that looked even close Then we have the food ? Well some of it was the best food we had in Sri Lanka Lanka …rice and curry magnificent…breakfast off the charts so many different flavours and the presentation was beautiful. They also made a huge effort to cook special things my wife ordered and finding her local fruit and cutting coconuts out of the garden We had one bad meal which was a western one but all the rest of the food we had was top class The team led by Ishan are all extremely nice trying to help you in anyway they can. In terms of value all in I doubt you will find somewhere better anywhere in Asia if you look at what you pay for what you get. This will tell you how much we liked it we are staying a further 4 nights on the way back to Colombo. My new home in Sri Lanka thank you !

Incredible hotel, like being in paradise. Food is amazing, and lodge. pool and staff outstanding. If you are travelling to lion rock or on safari this offers the perfect pace to relax afterwards. I would go be half board s the dinner is excellent. 100% recommend.
