Ca' Bianca Tuscany Relais

My husband and I spent a week at Ca' Bianca in September as part of our 25th wedding anniversary trip so I wanted to love it. I didn’t. What we did like: The grounds are beautiful. Wonderful views and plenty of olive trees. There is a gorgeous swimming pool with a bar and a covered patio. Free parking is available including a charging station for electric vehicles. The breakfast buffet is large with plenty of choices. Our room had an updated bathroom with a large shower. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. It is an easy drive to Siena and a great location for exploring Tuscany. What we didn’t like: Our room was not clean. It had a quirky setup with stairs in the bathroom going down to the toilet and hanging at eye level was a spider web. Both window sills had dead bugs on them and the screens were not properly fitted. The walls had a lot of marks and would need to be painted. There was a bottle of water and two glasses in the room. The water was never refilled and the glasses were never swapped for new ones. The room looked drab and old. The cleanliness issue was also in problem in the TV room. We played pool one evening and you could see the spider webs under the tables. I was glad we didn’t sit down and play cards. We did ask a couple also staying at the hotel about the cleanliness of their room and they said it wasn’t an issue so I do wonder if we were just unlucky. We love the old, renovated properties in Italy so it was disappointing that this one didn’t live up to our expectations.

I feel it is people who make a stay memorable and at Ca Bianca everyone goes out of their way to make your stay perfect, great help and tips from Giuseppe, great banter and service from Candy at dinner and wonderful breakfasts from Maria.....I'm sure there are many others who make this place work so well so great work to all. Quiet location with views of Siena and comfortable rooms. We will return for sure.

This is our second stay at Ca Bianca and we were not expecting it to be even better than the last time we stayed in 2019 as we felt it was pretty amazing then. The owner is very lovely and friendly, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the breakfast and pastries were perfect and the cook was simply amazing! The property itself is absolutely stunning. Lovely views throughout the property, great little addition of a pool bar and a fantastic selection of local wines. You really cannot go wrong with staying here and if anything you’ll want to book ahead for the following year! Thanks to all of the staff for making our stay memorable.

Beautiful place and beautiful people made us feel like at home. Giuseppe is an exceptional host and Maria makes the most tasteful breakfast ever! Relax in the nature with just the sound of crickets. We enjoyed very much our stay at Ca Bianca and can’t wait to be back soon!

The location was perfect, set in the hills with gorgeous views of Siena, and only a short drive into town. The property has been so lovingly restored, adding modern comfort amenities (i.e., air conditioning, updated bathrooms), but without sacrificing the historic charm. The breakfast was a massive spread that far outweighed our expectations. But what really made our stay were the people. Mary was our breakfast server, and after 5 days it felt like we were leaving behind a new friend. The whole staff, from the office to the restaurant, really went out of their way to make us feel at home. I will 100% recommend Ca' Bianca to anyone I know heading to the Siena area. I promise you will not be disappointed!

World Class hotel with world class staff in a sublime location. From arrival to departure nothing was too much for all the staff - food a 10/10 from Julio , breakfast with Maria magnificent and Elena and Vanessa can’t do enough for you. Can’t wait to return again in the future.
