La Terrazza Sul Campo-Rooms Only

I've had the opportunity to live in multiple countries and travel around the world, and my stay at La Terrazza Sul Campo can only be described as a "bucket list" hotel stay. I've always loved Siena, and the view over the Piazza del Campo is simply stunning. It was impossible to not imagine scenes of the famous Palio race. The terrace offered the best vantage point for the Piazza, the tower and the endless sea of activity below. I stayed specifically in the Piazza del Campo Room - which was beautifully furnished in a traditional setting. It was so nice, I didn't want to leave my room or the terrace. But when I did, I had all that Siena has to offer at my front door. Hotel was directly on the main shopping street Via di Citta, steps to Piazza del Campo and the Torre del Mangia, less than 5 min walk to the Cathedral. I used it as a launching point to not only experience the center of Siena and main sites, but also get out to see the rest of Siena. The staff was charming and accommodating at every turn. You will love this view, the hotel, and the location.

I loved absolutely everything. Before my arrival, Viola contacted me and gave all explanations needed, so we were able to find the location and come easily to the apartment. It was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste and style, the bed was huge and comfortable, we had everything at our disposal. The accommodation is extremely well located, in a small, cosy street, few steps from Piazza Il Campo. Viola made some suggestions about places to eat and shop, so we don't fall in tourist' trap. We came to Siena to work remotely and visit a bit and we were able to have all comfort needed to assist in all type of meetings we had, as well as dig into the deep work. We had our calm, our privacy. Each morning, we were asked if we needed anything, change towels, clean the room, everyone was so helpful and genuine. Viola was perfectly reachable, when I had a problem, she was able to respond me even at 11 PM, this was so reassuring. Finally, last day, we had our flight a bit late from Pisa, we were allowed to stay late in the room, so we can work, as it was raining outside, Viola also gave as some biscuits, a specialty from Siena. I had a wonderful stay, I cherish so much people that devote themself to take care of people, of the quality of their vacation. I would definitely recommend this place it was an honor to be their guest.

We spent two nights at La Terrazza sul Campo. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the communications, and the location. Our hostess, Viola, recommended several restaurants. The one we chose, Antica Trattoria Papei, was very, very good! We’d definitely stay there again!

My dream of The Palio fulfilled! And what a great place to have as my home base and viewing platform. The room was so comfortable and the location was very convenient to everywhere. The hospitality was thoughtful and so gracious. I would stay here again.

Unbeatable location with amazing views and amazing staff! Viola was super helpful and accommodating - she made our stay! She also gave us some really great recommendations for food and wine in Siena. The hotel is centrally located - you are (literally) steps away from the main Piazza and all the best attractions. The hotel was really clean with beautiful decor and a super comfortable bed. They even had a whole breakfast spread and coffee available all day. Super helpful that taxis can go all the way to the front door. Would be a great spot for couples, friends, or families - the rooms were large. Picture is the view from our room - unbeatable!!

Assolutamente consigliato. Ho alloggiato una notte nella suite e ne sono rimasta decisamente entusiasta. Camera ampia, accogliente e molto pulita con una vista spettacolare su Piazza del Campo proprio come si vede in foto; bagno molto grande, rimodernizzato e molto pulito. La signora Viola e sua mamma estremamente gentili, accoglienti e disponibili.
