Sala Siem Reap Hotel Location: The hotel is situated in a great location, on the road leading to Angkor Wat (65 minutes walk, 12 minutes Tuk Tuk) in one direction, and the city centre in the opposite direction around 20 minutes walk. On the opposite side of the road is the Angkor National Museum. There are Tuk Tuks parked outside if a walk in the heat isn't desired! You are however within walking distance of many other popular attractions, restaurants, and shop. Remarkably, despite being on the main road out to the temples, it was very quiet. The swimming pool was a welcome sight whenever we returned from the daily explorations! Staff: The staff at the hotel are absolutely wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, and always go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a great stay. I was particularly impressed to be greeted by name by almost all of them across my entire stay, a very nice touch. Overall Experience: I had a wonderful stay at the Sala Siem Reap Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Siem Reap. Well placed, very reasonably priced, great staff that always made you feel welcome.

Durante mi reciente estadía en Angkor Land Urban Boutique, quedé completamente impresionado. La excepcional cortesía y amabilidad del personal fueron ejemplares, asegurando una experiencia cálida e inolvidable. La habitación era espaciosa, estaba impecablemente limpia y equipada con comodidades de buen gusto. La reserva a través de Trip.com fue perfecta, lo que me permitió disfrutar de una estadía sin complicaciones en este hotel boutique magníficamente ubicado. Recomiendo de todo corazón Angkor Land Urban Boutique a todos los viajeros exigentes.

Super séjour ! Tout était parfait la chambre, la propreté l'accueil chaleureux du personnel, le petit déjeuner et la piscine pour se rafraîchir en prime en rentrant des temples. Il propose également des services de tuktuk. Petit plus la patronne parle français. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation !

Warning! Awful experience! We left early without a full refund due to the room being unfit for purpose! Main issue: THE RATS. On our first night in the family room we got woken at 3am to the sound of rats running around the walls and ceiling making a lot of noise, scurrying around and gnawing. It was VILE. It lasted all through the night so I couldn't go back to sleep. This wasn't helped by the fact there were holes in the walls and ceilings in the bathroom. We informed the reception that we didn't want to continue our stay and wanted to leave on our last night with more than 24 hours notice and they refused to help, we asked if a different room might help but we were not accommodated. As this discussion was happening a huge rat ran through the reception in sight of us and the reception staff and they still would not give us a full refund for our last day. (We left, lost money and had to pay for another hotel) Other problems to be aware of: - Shower fitting was from above only and very dated with the fittings and wires hanging off and large holes in the ceiling and walls -Rock hard beds to the point it hurts your bones. -NO TV (the wires had apperently been cut in the street so this isn't getting fixed any time soon) -Extremely poor WiFi, hardly worked/connected (apparently due to ”too many guests”) - Poor cleanliness stains on sheets & towels - Run down in general, rusty sunbeds, holes in walls, holes in towels etc - Useless Sun beds with no functional back rest, pillow kept moving and wasn't a good angle to lie back on - False spa advertising ... The spa closed down a while ago and doesn't offer 3/4 of the treatments it says, and if you do want a massage they call an external therapist to come your room and do it on your bed, which with the lack of cleanliness I would presume they don't change your oily sheets afterwards. - Pool was dangerous, greasy tiles underfoot so when getting in and out of the pool it was very easy to slip and the edges of benches/seats/raised areas in the pool all had very sharp edges that you could cut yourself on. It was also in the shade for part of the morning and all of the afternoon. - seemingly uninterested reception staff that couldn't help - Poor customer service, with no house keeping & only a small amount of toilet paper given for 3 nights Please trust us and do not go,

Este hotel es agradable, grande habitación y muy limpio. la ubicación se encuentra a 2 minutos a pie del centro. La piscina es grande y agradable. El personal es muy amable y útil. El hotel cercano dispone de muchos restaurantes y comidas locales. Le recomiendo muy bien este hotel.

The entire team at The Sarai, especially Rose, David, and Anna, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delightful experience. Their dedication and willingness to assist me were truly commendable. I must add that all the other staff members were equally helpful and contributed to making my stay exceptional. Apart from the exceptional service, I was particularly impressed with the hotel's amenities. The comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, the delicious breakfast provided a great start to the day, and the fabulous pool offered a refreshing retreat. Furthermore, I was thrilled to receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which I decided to extend due to its immense relaxation benefits. I also want to express my appreciation for the assistance I received from your staff in various other aspects. From arranging transportation to and from the airport to helping me mail out postcards, their support was invaluable. I couldn't have asked for more. In terms of location, The Sarai's proximity to the main shopping and restaurant area is incredibly convenient. The short tuk tuk ride or 10-minute walk ensured that I had easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the city. Additionally, I would like to mention the excellent tuk tuk drivers that your hotel has partnered with. These local drivers were not only knowledgeable about their beautiful city, but they also provided exceptional service and were readily available to show me around. Their passion for Siem Reap was evident, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city with their guidance. My experience at The Sarai has been nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional service, top-notch amenities, and a dedicated staff has made my stay truly memorable. I am grateful for the outstanding hospitality and will not hesitate to recommend The Sarai to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Thank you once again for providing me with a remarkable experience.

Este hotel debió vivir tiempos mejores en el pasado porque actualmente parece más un hotel fantasma, por la falta de personal de servicio y la falta de mantenimiento de algunas instalaciones. Es una pena porque la habitación me gustó bastante. Es una habitación muy amplia, con una cama cómoda y decoración bonita. Pero el servicio proporcionado por el hotel dejó mucho que desear, y puedo nombrar numerosos ejemplos de ello. Cuando llegamos al aeropuerto, el chófer que teníamos incluido en el precio de la reserva no estaba. Nos comentaron otros conductores que se había marchado con otra persona hacia poco tiempo, al parecer por lo que entendimos a la llegada al hotel nos debía haber esperado a nosotros pero no fue así, así que nos tocó esperar cerca de 45 min a que volviese a buscarnos. Realmente nos terminamos quedando solos fuera de la terminal esperándole, por lo que no debe ser algo habitual en el resto de hoteles. Otro tema fue que el día que fuimos a ver el amanecer en Angkor Wat, nos comentaron el día anterior que nos podían dar una bolsita de picnic con el desayuno para poder llevarnos, preguntándonos incluso las opciones que queríamos. A las 6:00 cuando llegamos a la recepción no había nadie, dijimos un “hello” en voz alta y de repente se levantó de un sofá una persona del servicio que estaba allí durmiendo. Le preguntamos por el desayuno y nos miraba con cara de no saber nada de nada, daba vueltas hacia la pequeña oficina que hay detrás de recepción, volvía, miraba el móvil, llamaba a alguien, daba otra vuelta y así durante casi 10 minutos, sin darnos una respuesta ni solución hasta que finalmente le preguntamos, pero ¿el desayuno va a llegar? Y nos contestó con un no y ya nos fuimos tras haber estado perdiendo el tiempo, obligándonos a parar a desayunar después en la ruta que teníamos planificada con tiempos ajustados. Por la tarde cuando volvimos, nos dijeron que lo sentían y poco más. Simplemente nos ofrecieron acercarnos a algún sitio a cenar con el chófer pero dijimos que no porque los tuk tuk eran baratos y no nos apetecía tener que estar esperando a que llegase el chófer. Pero lo peor fue una noche cuando volvimos de la cena que nos encontramos la habitación sin limpiar. En la recepción no sabían dar ninguna explicación y encima tocó dar 2 paseos a la recepción porque habíamos solicitado cambio de toallas, y a por alguna otra cosa. A la mañana siguiente hablamos con la Manager del hotel que lejos de disculparse, intentaba excusarse con una justificación sin sentido, diciendo que el servicio de habitaciones había ido a la habitación a las 14:00 y que justo en ese momento estábamos dentro con el no molestar puesto, porque habíamos pasado a cambiarnos durante media hora para ir a hacer otra actividad, y ya no volvieron en todo el día. Vamos, algo ilógico en cualquier hotel, pero mucho más en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Y después de estos ejemplos de mala gestión, comentar que en la piscina había veces que faltaban toallas y tardaba

I went to SR for visit and working , was stay at this hotel 3 night, room is nice with clean , price is acceptable with gift floor and good WiFi , I was very upset with services, there is not a standard service, just a bit case but they tried to lied us , the case We can’t access TV I. The room they tried to lie us since I check in till check out just tell there are problems with TV Cable company 😅 firstly they told me they bought smart tv box arrived hotel then TV remote not accessible! Finally is about Tv cable company look like they think we are local guest not much money to pay therefore no solution like change from another room to our room , just set up honeymoon flower a bit expensive 7$ charged . But night shift staff he is good and kind
