Melissa Garden Apart Hotel

This is a very good budget hotel, if you are looking for luxury it's probably not a place you would enjoy. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed. Maid service every day. All of the staff are lovely, very friendly nothing is too much trouble. Very lively bar, music and entertainment goes on until the early hours. Bar/restaurant staff excellent, very entertaining and efficient service. Restaurant food is basic but very generous portions. We were self catering but room was not really adequately equipped toaster, microwave etc. were available at a hire price, we were there for 28 days, for a long stay concessions on the price should be made. It is advertised as self catering appartment but not fit for purpose as long stay self catering. Swimming pools good, clean and well kept. Melissa supermarket good, if he doesn't have what you need he will order it and it will be there the next day. Always helpful and pleasant. The paid for Wi-Fi was very hit and miss. Wi-Fi only worked for about half the time I paid for. The hammam man came round the pool and bar every day selling massages, we would have booked but his quote was over €100. So after that we went on get your guide and had a number of hammams over our holiday. Picked up and dropped of at hotel with half hour massage and face pack £11.25 each. I visited the hotel hairdresser this was a big mistake I booked a manicure and pedicure. On the price list I think her manicure was €15. and pedicure €22. When I came to pay it was 4,100 Turkish lira which is somewhere in the region of £100 nowhere was there any mention that the shellac was €30×2 for hands and feet. Not only was this the most expensive pedicure and manicure I have ever had I only pay half this amount in England, it was also the worst she cut my finger and it bled quite a bit for the rest of the day. The shellac started to bubble and lift after a couple of days, because she held my feet up on her lap to do the pedicure and I was sitting on an office chair the whole procedure was very uncomfortable. I certainly would not go back. The hairdresser next door had a cheaper price list, but certainly check what you are getting for your money beforehand. The hotel rooms are comfortable but a few basic things could improve them greatly. There are no mattress protectors on the beds. There are no do not disturb signs for the doors. The was nowhere to hang my dresses. The wardrobe only had a short hanging section for shirts. There were no hooks on the backs of doors so nowhere to hang longer items. The TV constantly went off no signal, it only had three English speaking channels all news channels CNN Washington, French news in English and another news that seemed to be mostly Australians. Sorry for sounding negative. Most of these are just small problems that could easily be addressed. If you are thinking of staying here don't be put off just be aware everything has an extra charge. Have just come back from 2 weeks here. The hotel is nice however it has ramps for wheel chair users unfortunately they are so steep and because of this the foot rest catch at the bottom of the ramp and if u are not going really slow you will tip out. The bar staff are all lovely we spent most of our days at the second pool which is over a small road but it's so peaceful up the the barman at the time Icasim (man with pony tail) was on game the whole time kept the pool area so clean walked round asking if anyone wanted drinks and not in a bad way he would collect glasses and ask if u wanted more and would either chat or leave and not push a sale. Unfortunately though our holiday was ruined 2 nights the first night they partied from 1 am my daughter went to reception twice and each time a staff member came to see them but after 10 mins they turned music back up that was the worst thing about being in the last building from reception, as we had the same thing happen again a few nights later. The beds are so hard so if you have sore joints like me I suggest u take something to help. The rooms them selves are big enough however the maids don't really clean the floor walking shoe less made ur feet black, all they did was give towels (but only if left on the floor) and toilet roll. Unfortunately we had money stolen out of our room £40 we did report it but a day later we actually caught one of the cleaners going through the bag that the money had been in previously so we reported this they came and seen her but she was back at work within half an hour, after we reported this our room was never cleaned again thankfully we only had 2 days left. Also you have to pay around 30 euros for 7 days WiFi and if you want toast you have to pay extra for a toaster also have to pay extra for an iron and microwave so anything you need to cook with you have to rent the only thing in your room to cook with is a double hot plate and a kettle. Also there is a shop on the left called fashion trend outlet please be careful when shopping there they will short change you and if you try to tell them this more shop men will surround you until you leave. If you wanted to go out to eat I highly recommend Golden fizz bar the staff in there are amazing and the entertainment is really good there too. There is also a restaurant called Cheers its a bit of a walk but you can get the bus for a euro which drops u by it u just need to shout when u want to get off.

Fantastic holiday we was a group of ten ranging from adults to young children accommodation was spacious and cleaned every day. Staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great holiday food was amazing plenty of choice especially as we had some fussy eaters in our group entertainment every evening something for all ages we will definitely be returning next year

Ok, we’ve been to Turkey more times than we can remember, but never to the Antalya side. We didn’t book ages in advance, so choices were limited for our criteria (a two bed apartment). The apartment was amazing in size and cleanliness, one downside and I should have checked both of the beds were double, so maybe something you need to check. As a rule, we don’t spend a lot of time in our accommodation, but 75% of our time was spent here, this was down to amazing staff, Yaz does a fantastic job around the main pool area, but the staff work as a team and that shines throughout they’re not only colleagues but friends and it works! TOP team. We used the smaller pool to just chill,Ahmet & Jesus again do a cracking job, always keeping us topped up with much needed cold beverages. I didn’t love Side, but I would go back just for what these guys offer. Food is top notch, and hats off to the kitchen team working in such hot, humid conditions. Not in looks, or ground conditions etc, but the guys make this the 5* treatment.

Our family had an amazing time at Melissa. The hotel was very cozy and well-maintained, with a friendly and helpful staff that made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and perfect for our family needs. The breakfast was outstanding – a delicious spread with plenty of fresh options to choose from. We especially appreciated the on-site bar, where we could unwind and relax while still keeping an eye on our kids in the room. It’s something we haven't been able to do on any other vacation since becoming parents. This was by far the most relaxing holiday we've had in years! We highly recommend Melissa Garden to any family looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay.
