Hotel Mimosa

This hotel was brilliant very well organised and such helpful staff. Everybody was friendly. Yes you will read the shower is small but I’m not a thin person nor is my husband but we managed to use it daily just try not to drop the soap. Certainly better than one we have had in a higher star hotel on Santorini. Rooms are basic but clean-beds were comfy and yes you need to bring your own cups if you want hot drinks (paper ones are supplied) the rooms have a fridge, always a bonus, but we didn’t spend much time inside other than sleep and wash so perfectly adequate We emailed and requested a low room due to mobility issues and we were given one at the front with a sea view. The breakfast is brilliant it says buffet and it certainly is. There is so much choice nobody should leave hungry. we didn’t need lunch most days. Can’t tell you about evening meal as we like to try different places so only went B&B. Perfectly placed at the end of the main strip and opposite the beach. Can’t comment on the sun beds and pool as not something we used. But plenty of seats and tables around the bar area. It’s no wonder most of the guests we spoke with return regularly. So good we booked to go back when they open up May 25. Thank you to all the staff

Myself and a friend have just returned from a stay here, the staff are so friendly and helpful can't do enough for you,the rooms have everything you want food is a good variety (breakfast) and hotel is central to everything will definitely return here thank you

Disappointed with hotel tbh rooms ok and fresh cleaned every day however food not up to much . Stayed bed breakfast and evening meal but ate out elsewhere most days. Breakfast passable but evening meal really not up to scratch . Lamb Kleftico which I love and looked forward to was 2 slices of lamb on top of boiled potatoes 😂 . Also pre requested double bed ground floor room but got neither . I would stay at hotel again due to its fabulous location but would want room in main block and go self catering

Great reception area and very friendly staff. This was our 2nd time stopping at Mimosa and we were remembered by Tracey from two yrs ago. Our room was on the front of the hotel with a fantastic view of the sea. The beds were really, really comfortable and although there was only 1 pillow on the bed there were spares in the wardrobe. Was cleaned every day and bedding changed every other day. All the staff members we met were so friendly and accommodating. Well worth the stay and see you all real soon Pete and Lesley

The hotel is lovely and in a great location. The rooms were cleaned every day , towels changed every 2 days and bedding every 4 days . Only downside to the rooms is the small shower cubicle in the bathroom. Apart from that room had everything for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is amazing, everything from fried breakfast, to continental, pancakes, cereals, youghrt. Lovely. Had a meal in hotel 2 nights as we were only bed and breakfast. Food and service is great . Staff are all very friendly and most helpful. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a lovely relaxing holiday .

What a fabulous hotel! As well as Sidari having my heart Mimosa is my happy place. The staff are fabulous super friendly, they cannot do enough for you to make your holiday special. A special thank you to the amazing Anna you really are a credit to the hotel and an absolute gem! Have now been here four times, but this is my first solo trip, I couldn’t have felt safer than I do here. The cleaning staff are lovely have limited English but after all we are in Greece, they always say hello or good morning with a smile on their face, if you are in your room when it comes to cleaning they will ask if you want it cleaned or not the first day I told them it was fine to leave it as I had only been here a few hours which was no problem for them. I have left all Sorts out while here from money to jewellery and my phone and nothing has been touched. Towels are changed every few days as well as a bedding change halfway through. Bins emptied daily and floors brushes and mopped daily. Any issues that arise reception staff are always very happy to help and sort any problems promptly. Yes the hotel is basic but you do not need anymore it’s just a base after all! The beds are super comfy and even got a double bed this stay, I have had the best nights sleep while here. I was a little apprehensive when I arrived as I am on the ground floor with a balcony but after the first night I didn’t worry again staff are on site 24 hours a day and they know who is staying here and who isn’t. I have left things out to dry on the balcony and nothing has disappeared. Yes the bathrooms are small and showers are small but they are big enough for what you need, I am not exactly skinny and have managed well enough! It’s kept very clean and have use of hair dryer and two mirrors in there. My room is spacious has ample amount of storage and even has kettle and a fridge plus air conditioning is included in the price you can pay for a safe which was 20 euros for the week. I chose bed and breakfast, the breakfast is amazing full English stuff, Greek style pastries, croissants, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, toast, pancakes, cold meats and cheeses, unlimited tea and coffee also cater for intolerances with dairy free options and have orange and apple juice and it’s all buffet style. In my opinion it’s more like 3 star than 2. The location is perfect across road from the beach and right on the edge of the strip where all the bars and restaurants are. Canal d’armour is a short walk away and is beautiful with more bars and restaurants and gorgeous little coves to swim. I have never found it too noisy at night and have stayed peak and out of peak season. The pools and clean and plenty of sun beds, if I had to find any fault it would be the sun beds are a bit old and some are broken but that is me being very picky personally I prefer the beach anyway where there are sun beds outside each bar.
