If being right on one of the best beaches in the world is your thing then this hotel is a great value. It's not economy but it's not expensive. The open air restaurant bar area is friendly, gorgeous and very convenient. The pool area is very large and pretty (and uncrowded) But where they shine the most is the Liz Bldg beachfront rooms. The views are stunning from the rooms. I doubt the most expensive hotels on Anguilla have better beachfront view rooms.

We don't stay here but their restaurant is atrocious! The service was horrible and 3 of 4 orders were wrong! The coffee was ordered and 10 minutes later , after asking, cups were given but coffee wasn't delivered until 5 minutes later! Three of four orders were incorrect and the last order arrived as the first three were finished

We have friends that own a home down the beach from Manoah. There were 5 couples on Anguilla for the week, and our friend's home only had 4 bedrooms. So we booked a gorgeous ocean front room at Manoah for the first two nights of the trip. We literally only needed a place to sleep and get ready at the beginning and end of the day. Our friend called Mahoah directly to book the room, as he gets a discount for being an Anguillan home owner. We showed up to check into the room around 5:30pm and there was nobody working at the front desk. The security guard was very kind, and ended up having to CLEAN OUR ROOM since the entire office staff was gone. It was bizarre. We're sitting outside the office at 5:30pm on a Sunday night for 45 minutes with all of our luggage and nobody to help us. My husband went down to the restaurant (which there were literally no patrons in) and asked somebody to help. A woman walked up with my husband, then proceeded to disappear. The very kind security guard had to give us his own key to let us into the room. The only thing we thin had happened was somehow because we called to make the reservation (versus doing it online); the information didn't make it to the front desk and the staff went home for the night. For a supposed high-end "boutique" hotel, it was a joke.

The Manoah experience was amazing! The room was perfect and was literally steps from the gorgeous ocean, the restaurant was delicious, and the view exceptional, but honestly it was the staff at this property that put it over the top for us. We were greeted warmly every day and we felt that each member truly cared about our experience, and making sure it was something special it was, we can’t wait to return to this beautiful island and the wonderful people who live here!

For starters it's right on beautiful Shoal Beach, which is great. And the staff are fantastic- particularly Renee, Miss V and Mr T - but even those we didn't know as well were friendly and great! Our room- it was really a suite-was very spacious with a comfy king size bed and very nice shower. The WiFi was pretty spotty and the tv's were difficult. We had to get help with the tv's twice. Plus the air conditioning wasn't great- it was never uncomfortably warm but it was close- we couldn't really cool it down. So a couple issues that can/should be easily addressed but overall a great spot with great people!

If being on a perfect beach is your top priority consider Manoah! We have stayed at high end resorts and villas over the many years we have visited Anguilla. Since staying at Manoah in 2017 we return again and again to this boutique hotel. We call Manoah our little beach hotel - it is simple, offers basics and most importantly a perfect location on the best part of our favorite beach, Shoal Bay. The views from the Liz Building are truly ocean front and just steps to the beach. We spent most days just being at the Manoah - talking long walks on the whitest sand and swimming and floating in the clear turquoise water, divine! This time we stayed in a Standard room on the top, 3rd floor, which gifted amazing views and breezes from the spacious deck. The room was a good size, clean and simply decorated. The air conditioner worked great. Although we do not use the pool it is large and a very nice area. The bar/restaurant area has been refreshed and good looking. However they still need to up their food program. We ate no meals here except for grabbing a yogurt or banana for breakfast. We did enjoy several sunset cocktails in the bar lounge. They are currently working on a red roofed dining area that we heard may be a casual tapas or pizza addition. Another important element that makes our stay wonderful is the staff. All staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with our questions and needs. Most of the staff we knew from previous stays and welcomed us back with smiles and hugs. The crew is the glue to make our stay easy and seamless. Many thanks to Barbara for assisting with our reservation, Rochelle for helping make dining reservations off property, Renee the super bellman who first greeted us, Nyrah for the warm welcome and easy check in and check out, Angelina for front desk help, Shanno and Vee for making us tasty cocktails, housekeepers, gardeners and of course TC who set us up at the beach each morning and checked on us throughout the day. The supreme location, great room with awesome views, friendly and helpful staff all comes with a refreshing price point! We look forward to returning in May.

Where do I start. Location unbelievably beautiful. Located right on shoal bay beach. Probably the nicest of all the beaches on the island. Accommodations very nice. Staff were probably the friendliest ever encountered in the Caribbean! Very well kept grounds and definitely will be booking for next winter.

Beautifully situated on one of the prettiest beaches in Anguilla. The Pros: gorgeous beachfront suites with plenty of space, large sprawling deck to look at the turquoise ocean. Just beautiful! Spotless hotel. The Cons: The continental breakfast was simply dismal. They had a jar of peanut butter, sliced generic bread and a very poor selection of fruit. They do have a menu you can order off of, which we did, an omelette for $30. . . There is no real connection between the front desk and the hotel; separated between a large parking lot. No gift shop, no concierge to help with restaurant recommendations . Would have given the place a bit more life if there was music playing, more service on the beach. We did not have one meal at the hotel as the restaurant seemed non existent. Ended up eating at the several beach shacks next to the hotel. I think this place could really be special if they improved their dining experience, be a bit more present with their guests. We paid a lot of money for our hotel rooms.

Just returned from a 6 day stay at the Manoah Boutique Hotel, and I can confidently say we were impressed. The property was located right on Shoal bay, and had two main buildings with roughly 20-25 rooms. I’ll breakdown the main areas below: Property: As mentioned, you’re located right on the beautiful Shoal Bay. We never had a problem getting beach chairs, and actually after 2 days they had our chairs ready to go without us ever asking which was a nice touch. There’s one restaurant on property, a pool, & a gym as well. You definitely don’t get that big resort feel which is why we enjoyed it so much. The grounds were always kept immaculate. Rooms: We got the best of both worlds. 5 nights were spent in the Beachfront Superior room and one night in the Oceanview Superior Suite. The beachfront room was huge, and literally stepping out of your room onto the beach which was amazing. The room itself was a bit dated but the beach access aspect was great. Also had a nice patio on the ground level. The Oceanview Superior Suite was VERY impressive. It felt new, refreshed, and airy. Equipped with a massive balcony, it was definitely one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever gotten anywhere in the Caribbean. I’m shocked that it was cheaper than the beachfront room. Access to the beach from this room was walking through parking lot and property to beach. So in short, the beachfront room was amazing for beach access, but the Oceanview Suite blew it away in terms of the room and view. Beach: Shoal Bay is serene. I’d say it’s comparable to a much smaller Grace Bay or even Magens Bay. The sand is a pure white powder and the water was crystal clear (depending on tide and wind) at times it felt like a private beach which was amazing. Throughout our whole stay there were maybe 2 vendors. Nothing like some other Caribbean beaches. Food: Lunch menu was pretty robust. The food was very good. We never had dinner on property, but the breakfast was weak. REALLY weak. For a continental it was actually laughable. It literally consisted of white or wheat bread slices, croissants, sliced melon, & little cereal boxes. That’s it. We’ve gotten better continentals at an airport best western for $120/night. I get they want you to order things off the menu but it was truly a pathetic display. To top that off they charge $9 for a bottle of water, or $3 a bottle to replace the free one you get at check in. MISC/TIPS: 1. You’re given one water bottle each at check in. After that it’s $3 a bottle. 2. A large bottle of water is $9 3. They Nickel and dime ALOT. This is the first resort I’ve ever stayed that that charged you for coffee in the room. 4. 80% of the Staff clearly want to be anywhere other than on property. The hospitality training seems to be nonexistent. 5. There are about 8-9 restaurants (including the one on property) all walking distance. Only two are open past 7pm so plan accordingly if you want dinner past then. 6. There’s almost 30% on every bill. You’ll feel it every
