Located in Shkodër, one of the oldest and most historic places in Albania, Hotel Tradita is a traditionally decorated boutique hotel. It features a locally famous restaurant and bar with a spacious terrace that serves homemade delicacies. The building is also an ethnographic and photo museum and features souvenir shops with traditional Albanian products.
All rooms are fitted with traditional furniture and feature original Albanian decorations. They offer a wardrobe, a seating area and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries.
The on-site restaurant serves a variety of local specialties, a spacious terrace and a barbecue. It also features a bar with live music several days a week. During the summer, breakfast is served in the garden, while in wintertime guests can dine next to the fireplace.
Guests can rent bikes on site, while the owners are happy or organize sightseeing tours and excursions or advise the guests on famous sites and historic places worth visiting. Guests can enjoy hiking in the nearby Albanian Alps and the owners will prepare a packed lunch.
There is a traditional carnival mask factory just a couple of steps from the property. The Rozafa Castle can be reached in 1.9 mi, while Skadar Lake, the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula, can be reached in 2.5 mi. Mes Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the region, can be found 5 mi away.

Muy bonito pero la encargada deja mucho que desear ,discute con clienta ,ósea yo ,porque el camarero me cobra el café sin informarme que tengo el café gratis en el bufet ,muy poca profesionalidad,una encargada no debería discutir por 2 euros ,solo es el hecho de ser incompetente

Hotel Tradita lives up to the reviews, location is a five minute walk away from where the bus dropped me off and where I had to take the bus, when I left Shkoder. The front desk was 100%welcoming, the room was amazing, especially I only paid $50 USD a night and breakfast was included, which was a feast, as for the room the Air Con worked well and there was a sense of style. Fantastic!!!

Definitely some place that i will come back. My family and I really enjoyed the place, the service and especially the food.The staff was really nice and communicative, the architecture of the place was really nostalgic and pretty. 10/10 recommend

I spent two nights at the Tradita in July, bookending a hiking trip. And I had totally different experiences… the first night I stayed in a lovely old style room and enjoyed a hot shower and a fantastic night’s sleep. On returning 10 days later I stayed in a new style room, which was a bit soulless but fundamentally fine. My hiking group enjoyed dinner and breakfast the following morning and the food and service was super. However, I was absolutely savaged by bedbugs - as were other members of my group staying in neighbouring rooms. I find this totally unacceptable and the experience really spoiled my trip. So, despite writing what I hope is a balanced review, I cannot recommend.

High hopes for this traditional hotel which has a convenient location and a pleasant inner courtyard. My room was adequate. Breakfast was ample and decent. However. The staff were quite brisk and surly. The evening meal was very poor in quality and portions. Just not enough food for our group. A ridiculous system where the upstairs bar seems unrelated to the downstairs bar causing chaos. Disappointing all in all.

This hotel is on the Main Street, with private parking. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The room was nice, comfortable, clean.Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food was plentiful. Daughter ordered eel and was sorry that she did. Completely lost her appetite. The waiter removed it from the table and asked to substitute it. There was already so much food on the table, that we declined. He brought another popular dish anyway! The breakfast the next morning was served buffet style. Of all the hotels we experienced, This hotel had the widest variety of breakfast offerings. However, as I mentioned in another review, chafing dishes are not heated?? I found this to be typical in Albania.

Wir waren da mit Freunden und wir alle waren sehr zufrieden so ein schönes traditionelle Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und SEHR SAUBER Allgemein sehr sauber. Personal sehr nett, essen wunderbar ganze Anlage sehr gepflegt einfach weiter so und bis ein anderes Mal. Faliminderit

Leuk hotel in de stijl van Albanie. Schone kamer en het bed ligt prima. Verder is het binnenplein erg gezellig om te ontbijten en te dineren. Personeel is aardig. Parkeren bij het hotel is niet heel makkelijk, omdat er weinig plaats is. Het hotel heeft de sleutel van iedere auto en verplaatst deze bij nodig.

Helaas waren we hier maar 1 nacht en moesten we voor het ontbijt weg maar het hotel had prima ‘breakfast to go’ geregeld en om 6.15 stonden er kannen koffie en thee klaar. Kamer goed, douche beetje koud, bed prima. De binnenplaats is leuk en je kunt in de omgeving prima parkeren!
