Sterling Legacy Shimla

Great Property with amazing hospitality specially by Hemraj and his team. We had a great time at the property whether it's about the food, the ambience. Although, all the staff was very helpful and cooperative but Hemraj and Abhishek were great at their work, they were so polite and respectful.It's truly a blessing to have such a staff at the property.

Our stay at Sterling Regency in June'25 was a delightful experience. The property is well-maintained. The service was excellent, and the staff was very cooperative and courteous. Our room was on the 3rd floor, which was pretty spacious and equipped with all Toiletries. We had good valley view from Room. Good thing about this Hotel is Sky lounge area, close proximity to Tourism Lift and hence mall road. There is closer route to Ridge which just take 8-10 mins walking leisurely. Location is just excellent. Things to be noted that there are many stairs that one has to take to goto room or access Hotel lift. Another pain point is Bar just next to this Hotel, which plays loud music till late night. To reach Hotel, first take tourism lift. Once you exit from lift there are around 15-20 stairs to reach Hotel lift. Hotel staff helps in taking your luggage to Hotel. We didn’t had any meals in Hotel so not sure about that.

The hotel is very nice and just build the main city center.The best part of the hotel is its view from the sky lounge.The hotel is very well maintained and very neat and clean.The staff is very helpful and their services are fast. Specially thanks to Mr. Hemraj and Abhishek who provide dinner at sky lounge.The food quality is good.Morning buffet spread is also good .Will come again soon.

Accessibility is a big issue. Car cannot reach the hotel. You have to take public lift and you need to hire a coolie to take your luggage to hotel. Hotel should provide these services. Breakfast was average. Lack of staff. If hotel has a little more crowd they could not manage breakfast Only good things was access to Mall Road. Many good options around Hotel should provide with luggage help upto car park and should also take care of car parks

Excellent hospitality we just love our stay at sterling Legacy Shimla good weather and stunning buety of mall road. Staff behavior was very courteous they are so good in guest service. It was out second visit to shimla but services are lots of improved from last time.

Nothing I can say as best part of my stay except the view during the breakfast time. i.e.from the lobby. The access to the rooms was very difficult with a steep flght of 42 steps. Apart from this there was aso a ramp. Only after negotiating 40 steps one can a lift which often went on repair or power cut. Undependable lift. Sr.Citizens and jpeope with weak limbs please avaoid this resort. Even the young and abe bodied who comes with a family will frown at this. This is at a top and Mall Road is at the bottom. The members after paying lakhs should face hardship by traversing all these stairs. Is it not a headache for trekking up and down each time esp. for a member who wishes to go around the town? The breakfast is served under the sky. Whenever it rains ala carte menu is given. It takes minimum 2 hrs to serve food on such occasions. The GM is helpless The Sterling should pull up their sleeves and act in the right direction. They should find an alternative resort in Shima which has basic amenities like lfit , restaurant etc - An indignant sterling resort member.
