"I love Charlton house, it was really quirky. The way it has been styled is really unusual. It makes you feel like you're in a bit of a fantasy world with the little corridors and quirky little nooks and crannies. For me it fit the bill, it did the job that I needed but I understand for those people that do not get it on an offer and pay a lot of money to stay there I understand how they might say that it's a bit dirty a bit tired a bit grubby and needs a bit of TLC. There seemed to be one very sweet man that was running around doing pretty much everything and the rest of the staff were hidden behind doors or just not there. I'm not sure. There were staff present in the spa and they were lovely and helpful and kind. My little room was gorgeous and cute and cozy, and clean enough although tatty in places. For me I really had a nice day and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was extremely basic but I didn't have extremely high expectations, and I'm not really a breakfast person, so again it may not make the tick box for others but it did the job for me. Thank you Charlton house."

"Muy bueno alojamiento. Limpieza, calor y agua caliente. El Shrubbery no es un primer hotel, pero es un hotel de gestión familiar donde se trata como una persona no una reserva! El shrubbery tiene todo lo que necesita. Shepton Mallet no es un destino, pero si necesita alojamiento en la zona cerca de Bath & West show ground The Shrubbery también ofrece una buena comida y un bar amigable."
