I rocked up to check into my apartment with my Trip booking confirmation. The nimrod behind the desk tells me “Sorry, we don’t usually take foreigners bookings through the platform” and then suggests maybe I should cancel the booking?!? What the hell?! I contacted Trip.com and got a customer rep ro speaks to her and explain how to process it. Was left standing there for 15 minutes in what should have been a 5 minute interaction.
If you are going to advertise on a huge platform like Trip, please ensure all staff are aware foreigners may stay at the hotel and not to be total pricks about it, or alternatively, remove your apartment off the platform altogether and lose business.
That said, I loved the cosy apartment which featured a fridge, AC and a washing machine and drying rack. The hotel is located on a the river a short stroll from the restaurant district and Rainbow Mall.
Will gladly stay again
