«The room offered excellent value for money considering both its size and location. I booked a double room, which consisted of two connected rooms—one as a living area, leading to a bedroom, and then to a bathroom with a dressing area. Overall, the space felt much larger than what was stated in the listing. The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the shopping street and the subway, and it's also within walking distance of Shenyang Railway Station. The interior had a classic hotel style with warm, muted tones. Despite the traditional look, the room and its amenities were well-maintained and not outdated. There were even two televisions provided. At a price of 400–500 CNY, I found this accommodation to be an excellent deal. It would be hard to find another room that offers such great value.»

«A very convenient and practical location if you are from out of town, in the city for an extended shopping excursion on Zhongxie, or plan to sample the food stalls and / or visit the Palace - a 2 km (30 minute) walk. Room could use a lamp. Otherwise, the great little study table provided in the room is rendered useless. Front desk service is friendly, if a bit slow. Probably not a property suggested for a multi-night stay. A bit smoky, no breakfast offered that I could see. Of course, Zhongxie is nearby, and has many choices.»

«Hotel is well located in a business district, within walking distance to two metro stations. It is clean, has good size rooms. The bed is pretty comfortable. Breakfast is up to standard. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They offered good advice on restaurants, and helped with calling a taxi as needed. They gave us a good image of the hotel and deserve most of the credits. Though the hotel is well kept, it does need a bit of refurbishment. For example, the carpet in the room needs replacing, the light could be a bit warmer, a box of tissue should be provided in the living room, and the shower head should not be fixed to the wall etc.»

«I stayed at Shenyang Yunwan Hotel recently and found it to be very conveniently located—perfect for travelers using the train and visiting local attractions. The room was clean, though slightly run-down, and guests will need to manage expectations in that regard. A major plus is that the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, offering easy access to food, shopping, and amenities. However, one important point to note is that the hotel’s air conditioning is centrally controlled by the mall. Once the mall closes (around 11:00 PM), the air conditioning is automatically shut off, leaving the rooms without cooling for the rest of the night. This can make the room quite stuffy, especially during warmer periods. Overall, the hotel scores high on location and convenience, but the lack of air conditioning at night may be a drawback for some guests. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide an alternative cooling solution during non-operating hours.»

«We had a wonderful experience at the Shangri-La Shenyang. We stayed there for two evenings as we’re exploring different cities of China. The room was very comfortable and had an amazing view of the park. The service staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast varied and made with good quality ingredients. We went to the whiskey bar and had a great time. They have a very good selection of whiskey and 10/10 service by a very professional and charismatic hostess. Would definitely recommend staying at the Shangri-La next time!»

«We enjoyed staying at the Westin hotel Shenyang. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the swimming pool and the well appointed Gym. The hotel was 10 minutes walk to the Subway station and an additional 5 minutes to shopping centres Pizza hut and several other eating facilities. The only negative was the air conditioning we were unable to get the room cool and had to open the window to get relief from the heat. We didn't use the air-conditioning while we were there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful over our 2 nights stay. We would definitely stay there again.»

«Good room: big, clean and comfortable. Chinese breakfast but some salad, bread, eggs, fruits and cereals and me and my family enjoyed it, plus the view in the breakfast room was nice. Finally, with a nice playground inside and outside. We could not use the outside one. I believe then we would have to pay for it.»
