The Fengtian Hometown Hotel (Shenyang Zhongjie Palace Museum Branch) is the former site of the Youth Officer Club built by the Fengtian Army in 1920. It takes you into the cultural atmosphere of 1920. Great place to stay to visit the palace. We had a family room. The kids really enjoyed having their own capsule which was a fun experience for a couple of nights.

Overall, the location is pretty good and near to the Shenyang palace. However, didi drivers don't seem to be familiar with it and always drop me at the other side of the hotel. In terms of cleanliness, there are many corners in the room that are left rather dirty/dusty. As I didn't spend most of my time in the room and there are slippers, I didn't want to ask for a change in room or whatever. On the room itself, I thought it was small yet sufficient. Liked the xgimi screen. One thing to note - if you are a light sleeper like me, where you can't sleep with noise or light, you may wish to note that the rooms are almost not sound proof and the blinds don't really block the light from shining in too.

The hotel room was clean and reception was friendly. The room was conveniently automated, instructions were clear. And the location is only two minutes away from the palace, good choice if you are planning to visit the emperors palace.

非常適合瀋陽皇宮，簡直就在馬路對面。這家精品酒店很有特色，設備齊全，設計精良。浴缸是一種奢侈品，尤其是在寒冷的天氣. 強烈推薦！
The location is perfect for the Shenyang Imperial Palace, literally across the road. The boutique hotel has lots of character and is well equipped and designed. The bath tub is a luxury especially in the cold. It is new with friendly reveptionist and makes you appreciate the “Feng Tian” era of this ancient city. Highly recommended!
