Shellbrook Motel

The motel was ok, it’s definitely older and showed in the finishing inside the unit, broken moulding, broken tub surround. The province had been having heavy rain for at least a few weeks and we noticed the carpet was damp throughout the unit, we wanted to turn Om the heat to hopefully dry the unit a bit, but the owner had the heat turned off throughout. We also asked for additional paper cups, coffee and tea and were told we could buy them, after a few minutes of bickering they relented and brought more the next day which was appreciated since we could not find any coffee packs in town or in Prince Albert. The hotel definitely caters to field workers which is fine, but can be a little noisy in the early mornings.

This family-run establishment exhibits excellence in every aspect of its maintenance and operation.

Mission accomplished. Out there to test a fairly new snowmobile. Did not want to stay in Prince Albert with the fear of getting it stolen. This motel was excellent as I could back right up to room door

Good, clean quiet room & area. Roads in are trrrible which is not motels fault

Worked for what we needed. Minor maintenance/upgrades needed.

The room included a small fridge and microwave and two queen beds. It was close to amenities in the town of Shellbrook and was a reasonable price. The room was clean and it was heated adequately for the cold outdoor climate we had during our stay.

The room was ok. No need for air cobditioning ... it was snowing.

Seems overpriced for the area. Room was clean bed was comfortable. Bit of a language barrier at the front desk

Was very noisy at night Sounded like someone banging something off and all night. Did not sleep well because of the noise
