The lady that runs the place is super nice. But the place is not for overnight travelers. It is more of a place for shady people looking for a cheap long term place to live. The rooms are very dated, and very unclean. Cats and cat food all over the sidewalks. Do not recommend this place.

My stay Affordable Suites was amazing! I came to this Affordable Suites due to an unfortunate family situation. Denise was amazing she made me feel so comfortable and safe, she was very polite and welcoming along with the prices being great! My suite was very clean and I was just amazed! Great up keep and staff. I want to thank Sonia as well! I would recommend aAffordable Suites to everyone I can. Sincerely, Jane Jones

The staff is great. Denise and Sara are very sweet! I came to Shelby for a summer job and needed a place to stay for a couple months. I was nervous at first because the town was unfamiliar and I was living on my own, but they helped me feel welcome and safe. The weekly room cleaning was great and I was able to feel at home pretty quickly.

Our experience here was excellent! Denise and her dedicated staff went above and beyond to make our stay warm and comfortable. Our room was always kept exceptionally clean as was the entire facility. Denise was always available when needed and was an exceptional host! The staff was equally helpful and very, very pleasant! We stayed here but we also created friends here! Thanks Denise and Sonia for making our extended stay the best!

I was pleasantly surprised at the great and affordable accommodations that I encountered when staying at Affordable Suites when spending time with my daughter who is a student at near-by Gardner Webb University. Denise was so helpful, pleasant, and friendly. She was like a caring mother on site. She went out of her way to help me navigate a scheduling/booking challenge that ********** was not helpful with. What a great help! The hospitality team was also friendly and the rooms were spacious and very clean. This spot is like a home away from home and will be my regular place to stay when in the area. I had no issues and a great time.
