The Cooper's Inn

This had to be one of the most picturesque accodation, town and surroundings we have ever visited. Add to this the welcoming owner Amanda who goes above and beyond to ensure that your needs are well looked after. Our room was so pretty. Coffee, teas, creams in the fridge, wine glasses, comfortable beds, crisp linens and soft towels (yeah, it's always the little things to win you over). A glass of wine at 5 with friends (fellow guests) under the pergola tops off a busy day. We loved our experience here and would highly recommend it. It's an all round win!

When we arrived on Monday afternoon it was most quiet in Shelburne. We were received in a very freindly and welcoming manner by Amanda, the intelligent en knowlegeable owner of this lovely Inn. We walked around the village for a while and explored the seaside on the walkboard and saw meny beautiful local houses. The room was smallish but well deorated with a nice bathroom. The bed was perfect. We were served a magnificent breakfast before departing: French toast with blackberry jam and a little Maple Syrup, hmmmm!

The Cooper's Inn was everything promised and more. We were coming off the CAT Ferry and arriving late; Amanda could not have been more accommodating as we met her upon our arrival around 9:30pm. And when learning we had to depart by 8 the following morning, she cheerfully told us she was happy to have breakfast ready for 7am. The rooms were spotless, replete with everything from wine glasses to a fridge to a television. The spaces for gathering were intimate and cozy. The food was delicious and made to order; there were breakfast offerings for all. And the best was Amanda. She is an intelligent, confident, industrious, kind, and engaging individual. We wish her and The Cooper's Inn every success in the world... it is well deserved!!!!

We were very disappointed in the response from the owners of Coopers Inn. We were on our way to our reserved room when route 103 was unexpectedly closed. The reroute would have taken almost 4 hours and would have gotten us there well after 9:pm. As a result we had to turn around and find alternate accommodations. The cancellation policy did state no refunds within 7 days of the arrival, but the circumstances were beyond our control. We were not offered any kind of compensation for this unfortunate circumstance. They didn’t even offer to give us a partial refund. Poor customer service as far as we are concerned.

From start to finish, The Cooper’s Inn was exceptional. Amanda was beyond accommodating and responsive, giving us helpful guidance and offering us an easy self check-in option. The property was so lovely and well-decorated, and the room and the bed were extremely comfortable! Breakfast is included the next day, and they made sure to inquire about any dietary needs we had in advance. As a vegetarian, they easily offered a delicious breakfast, and Dawn was so sweet and thoughtful! We loved our stay, and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shelburne!

My wife and I stayed at The Cooper's Inn for 2 nights recently. We had a very comfortable stay; Amanda is a welcoming, gracious innkeeper who provides a fine breakfast every morning. As with any old inn, the rooms are fairly compact - the good ones make up for it in charm, and The Cooper's Inn does not disappoint in that area. We highly recommend it.
