The hotel is nice enough, but when it comes to getting the frustrating safe fee removed from your bill, be prepared to argue for it. We had numerous rooms booked for a single night, a fair amount of business. We were charged twice for a roll-away we never got, and then also charged per room for the safe fee. None of our group thought to decline the safe fee at check-in. I've stayed at hotels all over the country, and the few hotels that still charge a safe fee, I can generally have removed when I ask, even if it's at or after the time I checkout. In my opinion, it's a sneaky hidden fee that a hotel only charges because they know most people will overlook it, because it's less than $2.00 and tucked in among the other fees and taxes. So, this Quality Inn get two stars off for arguing with my wife to get that fee removed. That fee shouldn't be on the bill in the first place. Guest beware. But again, that's the only reason I'd be hesitant to stay here again. If you can live with the safe fee, then this is a fine place to spend a night. I just wish staff and management were easier to deal with when it comes to financial matters. Small though they may be, it makes me feel like my business isn't valued. So maybe next time, I'll take it elsewhere.
