great hotel nice and clean. we stopped in a villa . the food is lovely and staff really make this hotel fantastic. few staff members that really made your stay enjoyable . Alhussien "Mario" the buggy driver he was so polite and friendly he really is a credit to the team! Lifeguard Mahdi very friendly and polite and the restaurant owner (can’t remember his name )

Rixos golf villas pure bliss Week of 28th September for 7 days Weather 35c Arrival - We arrived from the airport which is a 10 min transfer. Reception was helpful and let us get our dinner as we had not eaten in a few hours. We then went back to reception to get checked in a smooth process. A golf buggy came to show us around the complex and although late at night it was very much needed as the complex is large with lots of different things going on. Golf buggy took us to our room and the guy showed us round the large room. Rooms- beautiful large rooms we were in room 2107 a delux room. 2 large (very comfy beds!) beautiful large bathroom with walk in shower and large bath. Our cleaner for this room was absolutely amazing and kept it beautiful throughout our stay! Pools - we mainly stayed at the quiet adults pool at the back, mustafa the pool lifeguard guy was absolutely amazing and set up our towels and umbrella every day for us. They have a pool bar and Amir and the other guys that work there were great also and continuesly asked if we wanted drinks ( we did have to go and ask a few times but this is no problem !) all the staff work very hard to make sure you enjoy your time. Food - breakfast definitely needs improvement, eggs you end up queuing for around 15mins waiting for eggs in the morning, most tables are left dirty with nowhere to sit, no drinks on the table, no cutlery and no glasses to drink from. Lunch seems to be a better experience nashwa who works on the right hand side at the back is brilliant and if you need anything she's always willing to help from cleaning tables, getting you drinks etc in the main restaurant. dinner can seem repetitive but there is a few differences, chicken was always cooked well can't speak for the fish as I did not try this. There was always chips, pizza, chicken available as well as movenpick ice cream. Atmosphere was good with live music being played. Al a carte restaurants - we did not try the Italian however the Asian was terrible we had trouble with the booking as it was not booked properly, the food was horrendous many other people we spoke with agreed. The Turkish had a lovely atmosphere and food was better here with the staff actually being attentive however it's the mainly the same foods as you can get in the main restaurant (chicken and salad) Staff- mainly friendly we had a few instances where staff were very rude especially about getting drinks for us in the restaurant however all the staff we encountered around the pool and at the pool bar (quiet pool) were very very friendly. Evening entertainment - Kids entertainment starts at around 8pm and continues for around a hour it's the same songs every night. We don't have kids so can't speak for anything else (they have a bouncy castle by the main pool and some small play area on the grass area) Adult entertainment was good some nights but the main entertainment does not start until around 930 with acts after the children'

Just returned home from a great stay on arrival reception staff were very welcoming and was given a free room upgrade to a suite which was absolutely out of this world very big spacious and clean, cleaner was great room was clean and tidy every day We spent most of our day times round the quiet pool was was made to feel very welcome by hoda the bar girl she makes great cocktails and can’t do enough for you. ( hoda needs a promotion she’s the best). Eslam and shehab the pool boys go above and beyond to look after us brought frozen flannels and kept pool area clean and safe all ways on hand if we needed the umberella moved for shade Ala cartes were good but Italian was outstanding big shout to Mohamed gaafer and Mohamed mohsen for there outstanding service and attention to making sure our visit was perfect Ekrem atalay was always around to ensure food was really good excellent service Staff in the Irish bar were great execlent cocktails great place for a quiet drink and well looked after Guest relations ash and rasha go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect we can’t thank ash enough for making our stay so special General overal all staff are kind and work extremely hard to ensure your stay is good everyone should appreciate how hard they work

Me, my wife an our 2 teenage boys. Check in, quick and easy, made to feel welcome. Upgraded to Royal Villa (excellent). Villa, huge, cool and cleaned daily. No refill of mini bar first day but a call to reception and that was sorted. Clean pool towels whenever you like. Ring reception for a golf buggy to transport you anywhere on site. Restaurants, main restaurant has a mixed choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner, we felt the food was very good for an AI of this size. Our fussy teens have not gone hungry. Turkish restaurant didn't have much of an atmosphere but my husband and I enjoyed the food (fussy teens, not so much) Italian restaurant was nice, fussy teens enjoyed this more. Although it states long trousers, we saw many males in shorts. We have not, as yet ventured to the main pools but they look lovely with plenty of space between beds. Beach, shuttle to beach is every 10 minutes and takes less than 5 minutes. There are lots of steps but it's worth it. Plenty of places to stop and catch your breath if your asthmatic like myself. The jetty is short with plenty to see beneath the waves. We loved it. Snack bar and ice cream available. No need to take towels as you can get them there. Cold water waiting at the top if the climb has you a little warmer than you'd like to be! Other Rixos hotels, we've ventured to the Seagate. No need to bring towels, these are provided once there. Huge resort with a waterpark. The fussy teens enjoyed this until there were no rings or mats to use the slides as people were keeping hold of them, some lifeguards weren't allowing this to happen but in a resort so big, I guess it's hard to keep an eye on everyone. Food at the Seagate was ok but not much choice at the snackbar we visited. The beach was lovely, the jetty was 1.5k long! Regular golf buggies to take you to and from the snorkeling areas (2 or 3 before the end) we all enjoyed the snorkeling here but if you just missed a buggy, it's a long walk back. We chose to get a taxi back for 300E£ or 5 English £. Staff, the majority of staff are very welcoming and will do anything within their power to make your holiday special. Special mention to Rasha (guest relations) for going above and beyond during our stay. She has dealt with all our queries and requests promptly and professionally. Would we stay again? Definitely!

Been to the other two Rixos hotels in Egypt and this one doesn't come close. Rooms were really nice and we had an upgrade which was nice. Al-La Carts where set menu only so you never had much choice of food so you had to eat in the Canteen. Around the pools they gave you paper cups for your drinks but certain people would have the plastic ones so Prosecco or beer in a paper cup is 2 star really. the pool at the top....well I've never seen anything like it, loads of tiles missing, tiles that have been put back on look like a kid had just put them back with no more nails. i must have trodden on loads of loose tiles and some were really sharp. Rixos....you have let the name down with this hotel.

We stayed at the Rixos golf villas from 30.06-07.07 and I would like to thank the hotel staff for a really nice welcome and reception, starting with the very kind receptionist Amany and the room attendant, we stayed in room 1405.The food in the restaurants is very tasty,varied and fresh,so my biggest thanks to the restaurant managers.They work really hard but sincerely.We visited all the a la cart restaurants,the food was really tasty and we would like to thank the chefs of the restaurants.But special thanks to the entire staff of the beach who fed us and entertained us constantly. Our great thanks for the staff of the Turkish a la cart and main manager Mr Mohamed MohamędAli and Amrsaleh and mostafmosad and emad All beach staff Mohamed ali Chef emad Chef atef Mahmoud hamed Mostafa Beach manger Ahmed hamada Walid Mohamed -life- guard .The great thanks for the Saleh Ibrahim Rec who works by the pool. We hope all of them will get some bonuses for the really hard and nice work for the guests.
