Ok, this is a hard hotel to rate, & here's why... The first 2 days were full of issues. My 1st room wasn't ready, so I got moved to another room. This room was terrible! It was in the older part of the hotel as the room needed an actual key to open the door. Firstly the toilet wouldn't flush, when that was fixed the toilet leaked & flooded the floor. That was fixed but then when you flushed the toilet it leaked again. Also the bed sheet had what looked like a blood stain on it & the mini fridge didn't work. The following day I was moved to another room, this time in the main building. On first inspection it looked ok, but the mini fridge didn't work and the patio doors were not fitted well which resulted in quite a bit of noise from outside. I complained about the fridge and it was replaced, although the fridge had electrical tape holding the wires together! In addition to all the issues, there is no free access to the beach. It didn't mention that in the hotel details on *******!. If I had known this, I wouldn't have booked the hotel. But, after all this, once everything was fixed, I actually had an ok stay. The hotel itself looks ok. The pool area is nice, as is the reception area and main building. The view of the bay is partially blocked by the back of the Marina Sharm Hotel, so I really wouldn't say it's a great view of the bay, but it's quite good. In general the hotel is ok, but the appliances, fixtures & fittings are poorly maintained.
