Le Royal Holiday Resort Aqua Park

We had a lovely family holiday in February. There was a couple of issues with our room that were resolved very quickly which was the safe didn’t work and the balcony doors did t lock but was all sorted within an hour of us arriving. The food was lovely although it could be a little repetitive. The chocolate and vanilla ice cream was delicious although some days they only had mango available which was a little disappointing to not be able to always have a choice. The staff on the beach bar and main hotel bar were very friendly. A big shout out to the lifeguard Alaa who always went above and beyond for us and always with a smile. Mahmoud on the pool bar was amazing he learnt how we liked our drinks especially our cocktails, was really friendly and always had a smile and his service was on point. The choice of the pools and slides was a really big bonus with two children who love the water. Hopefully we will be returning some point in the future.

Awesome resort hotel with great facilities, lavish gardens, multiple pools, delicious food (huge variety) and great caring staff! Our trip was smooth as a silk from the moment we have landed in SSH and met by the hotel driver till our transfer back (after warmest hugs with staff members) to airport from that paradise hotel. We started to miss it and thinking about to coming back! Must stay!

An incredible amazing experience, the hotel has everything you need to enjoy from heated pools to golf cars to its own beach area with drinks and food available to enjoy. There are many water sports to experience to your stay , all within the resort area and the evening brings out the dancers with an amazing showcase. There is a Skyloung those seeking after 10.30pm till early hours of club vibe dancing with cocktail bar. Breakfast, lunch , dinner are amazing with many grills and options of restaurants from Italian to indian and international buffet. It’s honestly is the best stay so far and we’ve stayed in many , many hotels globally ! You must try if in Sharm El Sheikh! ❤️. PRO -extended territory, you have a place to do sports and long walks; - the first half of the resort is extremely nicely arranged, everything is new, well-kept and with nice vegetation; - the à la carte restaurants are at a high level with the best quality dishes and ingredients; - imported drinks, international brands, etc.; -in the evening, in front of the lobby and the bar next to the restaurant are different shows relaxing atmosphere; - the chairs in the restaurant are comfortable, and the crockery and cutlery were always clean; -from a visual point of view, the beach is beautifully landscaped. - there is a sky lounge where every evening a DJ mixes, the atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing and you have an impressive view of the entire resort; CONTRA - the second half of the resort is totally unkempt, without ornaments, flowers, etc. - also in the back part of the resort it smells terribly strong of sewage. - the food is not even half as good as what you find at Rixos (it is repetitive, poorly diversified consisting mostly of chicken dishes, beef being almost absent; limited assortment of tasteless cheeses, lack of fresh juices, cakes with cream margarine, lack of starter, etc.) - it is the first resort where no one asks you if you want to drink something, practically everyone serves themselves from the bar and takes their drinks to the table. - the biggest problem is the extremely ignorant and unprepared staff (here you see their mistakes every day: you order orange campari and you get campari in one glass and the orange juice in another glass; you order wine and you get prosecco; you ask fruit salad and the employee disappears and another reappears a few minutes later) - you try to talk to them in English and they answer you in Russian (even the details about the hotel I initially received in Russian even though I specified that we want it in English); - at the detox bar you will be served a "healthy" drink from different canned juices; in no way is it like at Rixos where you choose your vegetables and fruits and they are prepared in front of you; -reduced assortments of movenpick ice cream (at Rixos they have a much larger variety); -probably for economic reasons not to consume too much, salmon fumme is missing from breakfast and you can accidentally find it at food courts that open from 11 o'clock. -in 7 days of stay, I found mangoes only in 2 days, extremely strange for the period in the calendar; ( september) - the fruits that are served on the beach are not clean; in the rooms, the cleaning is done superficially, without a vacuum cleaner and with a very dirty mop that has washed dozens of other rooms; -it is the first resort where there were multiple power outages both during the day and at night; -one night, around 11:30 p.m. when the adults are telling stories, I ran out of water, I couldn't take a shower; - although we checked early morning we did not receive a package for the road, as is usual at any resort.
