The Ryedale

So pleased we stayed at the Ryedale. Hayley & John were brilliant hosts and the guest house was super clean, John has decorated the property to a very high standard this along with great breakfasts made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if staying on the island.

We stayed a week in this gorgeous b&b. The hosts make you feel right at home from the moment you check in. The rooms are lovely, decorated with taste, and very comfortable. It's a great location near the station, town centre & close to the beach. Breakfasts are great, with fruit salad, lots of options including full English breakfast. But it's really all the little extra attentions that make a big difference & there are many. We highly recommend it.

This B&B is simply brilliant. From the warm welcome, the kindest of owners, fantastic breakfast choices, very clean facilities, huge soft towels provided, quiet accommodation, comfortable bed and good size rooms. The property is very close to public transport and parking less than 1 min away. The sand beach is a short walk away with lovely pubs that serve fantastic food (ideal for dinner). The owners provide loads of information in your welcome pack of things to do and the owners are very knowledgeable about local attractions. I will definitely be booking another holiday here. Honestly 10 out of 10 the owners take huge care of the property and their guests.

Having stayed at Ryedale previously, we had no hesitation in booking in again, knowing we would get VIP treatment. John and Hayley are perfect hosts, you not feeling like a guest but like part of the family. As for the breakfasts, you will be spoilt for choice. John has a secret way of cooking his delicious mushrooms!!! Perfect location within a few minutes walk from Shanklin railway station, as well as bus stops on the doorstep enabling you to explore the island. Thank you yet again John and Hayley for your hospitality.

This was the nicest b&b I have ever stayed at. Nothing to much trouble.the friendliness from John an hayley and staff was heart warming. The food was great the selection was fantastic. There cooked breakfast was enjoyable especially the cooked sausage. Proper butcher's meat. The next time I visit the Isle of Wight I will definitely be booking at ryedale b&b.

A totally satisfying stay… John and Hayley are fantastic hosts, brilliant breakfast to cater for all tastes and immaculate rooms. Ideally placed for quick walks to the esplanade and the high street. Guides to all the recommended sights and sounds along with the best restaurants presented in the rooms, Hayley also engaged with us while serving breakfast and gave us recommendations. The Ryedale also offers up the dining area for use at night if you fancy eating in. They have thought of everything!
