Mercure Shanghai Hongqiao South

The stay was amazing. Everything was clean, in order and the customer service is excellent. Great location as well since it’s 15 minutes away from the Metro station. Would definitely recommend it.

The hotel itself is good but for someone relying on subway to travel around, its location is still a little far by foot. The hotel's room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy. The complaint that I have is it's design for the bathroom. The toilet and shower area are separated for one. The wash basin is located outside in the common area of the room. In both the toilet and shower area, there is no place to put your towel or dry clothing nor there was any hook to hang anything. So one would need to come out naked to get change. I would not want to do that in front of my children.

Very friendly staff. Helped with several travel questions. Give us room upgrade and free breakfast. Very very clean room and modern.lady Coco was a professional manager, had a sharp eye for details in breakfast room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The accommodation was excellent, offering a comfortable and well-appointed room that made for a very pleasant stay. A special mention goes to Mr. Jiang at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful. When I needed to book a cab to the airport, he assisted promptly and efficiently, ensuring a stress-free departure. The hotel’s location is convenient, with a shopping area right opposite. However, it appears that many of the shops are closed down, which is a bit of a letdown. Nonetheless, the proximity to Qibao town, just a 20 RMB taxi fare away, makes up for it with its charming attractions and local experiences. The only suggestion I have for improvement is the cleanliness of the room’s toilet. There was a noticeable smell that needs to be addressed to enhance the overall comfort although they free upgraded me to a premium room. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend the Mercure Hotel for its excellent accommodation and helpful staff.

Every staff here are very polite… everything we ask.. they reply immediately and explain very well.. hotel near to airport and train station..easy to transit to other place like Suzhou Hangzhou

The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. Check-in was excellent, even at midnight, and they immediately offered me a welcome drink while explaining the hotel facilities. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light and a great view of the city. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and small touches like bottled water and fresh towels were always ready.
