En general las críticas son positivas, pero esta vez siento: ¡Estoy muy insatisfecho! El personal de recepción fue muy amable y me dieron una habitación de categoría superior el día de la reserva. Llegué a recepción a las 14:10 y me dijeron con cara seria que la habitación aún no estaba limpia. Dijeron directamente: Puedes ir al Jardín Yichi de al lado a tomar una taza de café y esperar. Aunque el ambiente del hotel de al lado es agradable, no es excusa para retrasar el check-in en la habitación. Al entrar en la habitación me di cuenta que la máquina de café estaba defectuosa. El hombre de mantenimiento dijo: Esto nunca había sucedido antes. Llévalo de vuelta para repararlo. ¡No es una exageración decir que la recepción llegó tarde al entregar cápsulas y otros artículos por teléfono! Antes de irme a dormir, me di cuenta de que el aire acondicionado de la casa hacía mucho ruido y tuve que apagarlo, ¡y el agua que salía del grifo era amarilla! Al día siguiente, cuando hice el check out, un miembro del personal de servicio con apariencia mestiza en la recepción me preguntó sobre mi experiencia. Les dije que el aire acondicionado y la temperatura del agua no estaban muy calientes. Él dijo: ¿Crees que el agua está un poco amarilla? Lo hemos reparado hoy y debería estar arreglado. ¡Dios mío, me estaba marchando y ni siquiera me ofreció una disculpa educada! Hay otro detalle. Esa noche informé del número de mi matrícula y me permitieron pasar. Sin embargo, me bloquearon nuevamente cuando realicé el check out al día siguiente. El guardia de seguridad dijo que no me podían dejar pasar y que tenía que ir al hotel. ¿Por qué en recepción no me pueden preguntar al hacer el check-in: ¿Vas en coche? Después de todo, el lugar es remoto, y preguntar de paso puede ahorrarles a los invitados tener que viajar de ida y vuelta. Por favor, envíe los comentarios correspondientes a los lugares mencionados anteriormente.

La mayoría de la gente no deja malas críticas cuando se aloja en un hotel, pero esta vez me sentí realmente enojado. Pagué un precio bastante alto por un hotel, pero no esperaba que el servicio fuera así. El personal estaba ocupado en la recepción, pero un hombre con un traje ***** simplemente se quedó allí, no tomó la iniciativa de ayudar con el equipaje, no sabía de qué departamento era y no dio ninguna indicación. Aunque el personal nos indicó la ubicación, había demasiadas personas mayores en el vestíbulo y sus voces eran muy fuertes. Saltaban como locos en el mercado de verduras y yo no podía escucharlos con atención. Casi fui al piso equivocado. Afortunadamente me encontré con la gerente en el vestíbulo del pasillo, quien vino a saludarme y me orientó en la dirección, de lo contrario, habría sido vergonzoso ir a la habitación equivocada 😅. Me informaron sobre las instalaciones de los alrededores y nos dijeron que podíamos pedir platos en el restaurante y que debíamos tomar un taxi afuera para comer. No esperaba que fuera tan incómodo comer. Para ser honesto, el servicio realmente necesita mejorar.

Place was good for getting to the airport. Rooms are really big and nice. Restaurant is good: we had a great evening meal and the staff were amazing in the restaurant and very helpful but it’s all Chinese food no western menu. We loved it but don’t expect the full Hyatt deal. Front desk service was so-so: they tried but it’s not amazing. Limited availability of things like water and coffee. I asked for more than the two pods for the machine and we had to pay. Not great really so bring your own pods. Room is great though, very comfortable: I’d stay again for an early flight and bring extra coffee pods and milk for the room.

Room: Executive Twin Room (Upgraded) We had a really pleasant stay at UrCove by Hyatt Shanghai Pudong East during our trip to Shanghai. From the moment we arrived, the front desk was warm, helpful, and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an Executive Room by the front desk (a young Chinese guy at the front desk upgraded us and showed us the room), a generous gesture that really set the tone for our stay after a long flight. Manager Peter stood out with his amazing support. He assisted us with food delivery orders, helped us set up *******, and made sure our needs were met throughout the stay. He also helped us set up our WeChat by scanning our QR Code so we could register! His help and dedication made a big difference. A day before our check-out, the young Chinese front desk staff member (wish we caught his name!) was also extremely helpful throughout our stay, he patiently answered many of our questions during the stay and gave us a free late check-out upon request, he scheduled an airport drop-off for us too, which made our final day much more relaxed and stress-free. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a bathtub, smart toilet, washing machine, microwave, and an induction cooker. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The surrounding area of the hotel was full of greenery and trees, creating a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The room had a very nice view. The room service was responsive, helpful, and respectful, they came in at the times we requested, which we really appreciated. We also received lots of bottled water every day, along with all the usual room service essentials. Lots of the thanks to the room service. Extra perks: • Airport pickup and drop-off to/from Pudong International Airport • Smart toilet • Free self-laundry • Relaxing hotel environment --- A few minor downsides: The hotel is located a bit far from downtown (e.g., The Bund), and the nearest metro station (Middle Chuangxin Road) takes some time to reach. You can take taxis affordably to the metro station, but if using the metro, try to leave early as it’s about a ~40-minute ride back from downtown, and trains stop running late at night (around 11:30 pm for a lot of the lines, and some at 11:00 pm during work days). There are no nearby convenience stores, so it’s smart to either order what you need online or stock up on snacks, drinks, and groceries before returning to the hotel. --- Overall, this hotel was a wonderful choice. We felt cared for, relaxed, and well-served throughout our stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai, whether you're a solo traveler or coming with family. Huge thanks to Manager Peter, the front desk team, and all of the staff for the great service!

Excellent hotel cleaning and the staff are amazing and welcoming and the garden unbelievable breathtaking

The hotel located 20 min from Disney and about 25 minutes from airport. The room we booked provided us with free pick up service as well as free transfer to Disneyland. Also since I was with my mom who is a senior I chose carefully western breakfast(7:30-10:00), so this hotel was the best option. There is a pool in the hotel with hot bath outside. (Works from 9 am) We relaxed with my mom after a long flight and a day at Disneyland. Highly recommend this hotel for the price and for the service. Many thanks to Peter, the manager, who provided us with best service. He was very hospitable and spoke English very well so we didn’t even needed to translate everything in the app. Also want to note the night manager who worked in the being of 26th of May 2025(around 23:00) cause we didn’t ate at the Disneyland and he helped us to order the delivery of dumplings to the room, which by the way was delivered by the robot. On the territory there is a petite old garden(from 9am) in which you can enjoy a reading if you know Chinese(the are a lot of books and magazines) or just drink coffee and watch the fish cause the in the garden there is a coffee shop. My mom and I was very satisfied with the stay.
