Phoenicia Lodge

Absolutely loved our stay at Phoenicia Lodge! Our twin room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully updated. The entire property is charming and peaceful, and the customer service was top-notch—super helpful and kind. We came for the summer hiking and waterfalls, which were stunning, and we’re already planning to come back for the winter snowboarding season. A true gem—highly recommend!

Take me home - country road… to a place we all belong! The Phoenician Lodge feels just like home. It is welcoming, inviting and peaceful! It is exactly as advertised and then some. From check-in to check-out you feel Sandra and Emily’s love for this place and their pride and joy in hospitality. We stayed in Suite 12 which was an unexpected surprise. First, it was spotless (I mean spotless) and there’s a retro style and feel, that takes you back in time (which we loved). The amenities (oh the Beekman 1802 toiletries😌); the little-completely fenced in yard for the pups to enjoy and the silence (oh the silence!). The only thing one could hear at night were crickets. A splendid stay! (Very close to Main Street, Woodstock, Pine Hill, Kingston, etc). Already making plans for a return in the Fall 🤗

Great spot! 1940's cabins Redone and modernized. Comfortable beds with all the amenities one needs for a great catskill experience. Close to the heart of Phoenicia, Bellayre Woodstock etc. Gret grounds Fire pit. Lounge by the office. Amazing attentive staff. Communications were perfect. WIFI great and was a must! We will be back again and again!

Great location The inn keeper Sandra was attentive and courteous, offering tips and suggestions about local events and locations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the complementary breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to my next trip there.

I grew up spending summers and weekends in the Catskills and have probably driven/ridden past the Phoenicia Lodge in its pre-makeover state at least a thousand times. It was fun to see the refurbished interior! We spent two nights in one of the motel-style rooms, and it poured the first day. The breakfast/lounge room in the main lodge was warm and inviting, however, and I love that there are DVDs and board games and recommendations for things to do even in inclement weather. And Sandra was lovely! Our room was rustic in the most charming and authentic way, and all the things that really matter had been updated: the bed was super comfortable, the tiny shower was spotless, and the mini fridge came in handy. I confess to experiencing sticker shock when I first saw the rates since I recall the motel prices of my childhood, but this incarnation of the Phoenicia Lodge offers a thoughtful, boutique experience, and the pricing makes sense compared to everything else in the area. The sun came out on our last morning, but before then, I had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in years!
