Me and my besties went for a 2D1N staycation. And here are some of the feedbacks and complaints that I would like to provide.
First of all, overall the environemnt of the resort is pretty chill. And would like to give a big applause 👏 to front desk staff Mr Kamarul (Not sure if I spell it correctly), he served us politely and greet us with a heart warming smile. He also tried his best to get us our room ready as soon as possible. He is doing a great job! Thank you Mr Kamarul!
Next, here comes to the complains.
Things started with after checking in and getting into our rooms, we found out that there are no room slippers and shower floor mat provided. Hence, we inquired about it. However, when the cleaner came, he used a very suspicious tone and judged us and mentioned that “Manager dah checked, takkan tak ade” making an eyeside to us like we stole the slippers? Personally, i felt that this is rude and disrespectful.
Also, we tried to ask for 2 extra bottles of water. But we were told that it will charged extra RM2.50 per bottle. I have stayed in a lot of hotels (from 2 stars), It is my first ever time that a 5 star hotel requested RM2.50 for a mineral water. I am disappointed on this services, I acknowledge and understood that sometimes there will be a maximum numbers of bottles given for each room. However, this is not the case, without explaining anything, we were told by the staff that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to request additional mineral water and extra charges will be required.
Coming to the last and worst experiences throughout our staycation, we went for our buffet breakfast at the Charcoal Restaurant the next morning.
I was really really “impressed” with how bad or how discriminating the services can be as a 5 star hotel!
Me and my bestie just woke up and went for the breakfast without putting on any makeup and not dressed up (of course, we are not with our pyjamas, just some casual). Maybe because of this? We were not greeted by the staff at all (An indian tall man staff, I did not catch his name, hence i would like to just describe the features). Which has totally different attitude provided to the guest right after us whom were those western foreigners. He put up a big smile greeted them with “Good morning”. Wow, such a disrespectful manner provided to us.
We are truly disappointed and we believe as a 5 star hotel, this should not even happened. We will rather pay the same amount of money in other hotels or resorts for better hospitality services.
