Food was so so. They had a little problem finding our reservation. They aren’t use to people coming without organized safari. All worked out fine.

算是塞倫蓋蒂的性價比之選吧，設施比較陳舊，衹有早晚供電有熱水。大環境不錯，房間環繞着一個大庭院，旁邊的草坪上有時會有小動物比如羚羊跑進來，餐廳望出去有時會有長勁鹿。巖石旁有個高台，視野開闊，可以欣賞到草原日出日落。

We loved our stay in this lodge. Most lodges in Serengeti offer tented structures, so the comfort of staying in a place with safe walls gave us peace of mind. We had two connected rooms with one double bed and two single beds. From our room, we saw a lot of animals like giraffe, zebra, and cape buffalos. The most fascinating of all was spotting a dik-dik (smallest antelope in Serengeti) from our room. We didn’t see dik-dik during our actual safari. They have a nice viewing deck, from where one can get a bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti Forest. The hotel staff are good and very helpful. Their chef cooked special daal (lentils in Indian style) for us as we didn’t find enough vegetarian options. One thing I want to tell them to fix is the creaky wooden floor in the rooms. In the daytime, we didn’t notice the sound much but it gets annoying in the night. The floor makes weird creaky sound when you walk over it. Though I am not reducing any stars for that reason, I hope the hotel management will take a note of it.

An impressive looking lodge quite close to Seronera airstrip. The bar, restaurant and pool are set on a small rock hill with great views over the expanse of the Serengeti. All meals included buffet style and food was okay with tea and coffee included but water and all other drinks cost extra. The lodge is quite large and popular though service coped well. Rooms are quite small and dated. No aircon. Electricity is turned off at night. Hot water is only available in the morning and evening. Organising transport and game drives was complex and expensive, it may be better to book a tour package that includes everything.

The Lodge is old and worn. Rooms are not great, floors are soft and worn, beds sagging. We were given the same food options for lunch and dinner. Pools was dirty, although staff friendly enough. We were given a lunch box to take away and that lunch sat in the 4 x 4 in boxes for half a day - we were not even going to try the chicken stir fry that had not been in any insulation!

Terrible rooms, food and service. Bad food and rotting fruit, unhygienic buffet Mold throughout the bathroom Dirt all over the bathroom floor, can't tell the last time is was mopped. When the hot water is turned on, you put it to the temperature that feels right but then it fluctuates quickly between boiling and cold. You can hear pol screaming while showering as you walk through the corridor. Window drapery is literally falling apart Linens towels and bathrobes are stained Outlets are faulty and stop and start working Bathroom faucet doesn't work properly All the fixtures, toilet, shower, bathtub are extremely dated Toilet handle doesn't work properly and the toilet runs for 15 min after every flush WiFi BARELY works in the common area for a couple hours in the evening. Light fixtures next to the beds don't work. Faux leather chair cushions are very worn. Wooden floors haven't been refinished since installation in 30 years. Every time you took a step it sounded like you would go through the floorboards.

Stayed two nights here and loved it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was fresh and delicious, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We watched the sunrise each morning and saw animals roaming the grounds while we ate breakfast. Enjoyed every minute of our stay and look forward to our return.

The best things about this place is the location and it’s views. Also the swimming pool, bar area and viewing platform are great too. All staff we came across were lovely and friendly. The negatives were the bedroom/s. Can’t speak for them all of course. But ours was very small and pokey. The view was lovely however. Food in the resturant area was good enough. But the boxes we were given for lunch were the poorest we have had on our trip. We were a vegetarian and a vegan and on the final lunch box day the vegan dish was chicken. Not the best that. There with a few other options within our boxes so we got around it. It’s still a stunning place but just a few things let it down. But not enough to leave us with a disappointing experience. The positives out weigh the negatives.

A very nice, conveniently located lodge. Just five minutes away from the animals who may visit. Elegantly done up in wood. Some great views from a raised viewing deck. Well trained professional staff. Good restaurant. But: Room amenities need an upgrade. For instance , we found one, well hidden place where we could connect our chargers (after disconnecting the fridge). Internet is ok for text and mail (and is available in the rooms). There are windows (louvers) behind the curtains for circulation of air. But they are of the cheapest design and get caught in the curtains, thereby tearing them. And since the tap water is not potable, bottled (or other potable) water needs to be made available on demand.
