If your looking for peace, quiet, and beautiful sunsets this your place. Only 20 minutes from Wyalusing state park, The Effigy Mounds (sacred Indian Burial Grounds), Pikes Peak state park and Historic Villa Louis. This beautiful cabin centers you 15 miles from amazing hiking, fishing, historical sights, hunting and nature for a weekend of disconnecting from busy life.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Stay away form the edge of the bluff.4 wheeler in the garage is not for guest use.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

Outstanding Views!!!!
The views were simply put, outstanding!!!
Communication, the property and the thoughtfulness of the host was above and beyond! The driftless region is gorgeous and the views were outstanding. We recommend this cottage for anyone that wants to disconnect and appreciate Nature. We spotted many Eagles and were visited by three owls during our stay…top notch weekend!!!

Incredible cabin with an unbelievable view
The cabin (cottage?) is spacious and well maintained with a porch overlooking a stretch of the Mississippi River. Well stocked with linens and various creature comforts. Laundry and dryer are effective and fast.
There's a steep hill with a sheer drop at the end, but not close enough to be concerning except right by the fire pit. There are some minor inconsistencies with the listing. The third queen bed is actually a twin air mattress, and there are no video games on site, at least not that our kids could find. Fortunately they're very adaptable, and this wasn't a problem.
One thing: the lock on the sliding door to the porch was broken when we arrived, and our 3 year old had no trouble opening the door on her own and going out to the high porch. The railing out there seemed sturdy enough, but it still felt like it could be a potential safety concern.
Those are minor quibbles; we had a fantastic time, and I would highly recommend the property for a spectacular stay. Just keep an eye on any little ones.

Amazing views
Very clean and comfortable stay. The views of the Mississippi River are amazing. Saw northern lights from house but they were not bright enough for pictures. The singing birds were a delight. Love the sound of the train going by. Enjoyed our stay.
