Nature Lodge

I feel very comfortable with Nature Lodge. Really love the environment and wood house design there.

This is a great place to stay. The wooden bungalows are basic, with the minimum of furniture (nowhere to put your clothes), but there is air con and hot water and everything was clean when we arrived. The site is very spacious so you don't have any near neighbours. We enjoyed using the swimming pool which was always clean and never crowded. We had some breakfasts and evening meals in the bar and the food was always excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were really helpful, especially in booking a tuk tuk for a day out. We didn't have to check out until 12, which was a bonus.

The staff were so welcoming and some spoke very good English. They had lots of veggie options which was great! The huts are lovely with aircon and en-suite (although there were lots of ants on and around our bathroom). The pool is lovely and refreshing although could do with some loungers! There are also horses roaming around which is lovely!

We are used to going back to basic. We’re fine with that. In my opinion basic means simple but clean. This lodge has had better days. Rooms were dirty, the pool was green. I didn’t allow my kids to swim in it. The lodge is run by a very friendly girl but she spends most of her time on the phone. She has “help” from a few guys. But they just sit around and wait. The surrounding area is very very nice. Clean up the pool, fix what’s broken in the lodges, deepclean the rooms and the restaurant , buy new bedlinnen and you have something to be proud about.

Nature Lodge is surrounded by peaceful nature & is near the town center. I enjoyed a relaxing stay, comfy room, delicious food & coffee, friendly staff, funny animals & refreshing swims in their infinity pool. The elephant tour was great too. Fantastic place to either forget the city stresses or go on hiking adventures.

This is a lovely facility and really should be a wonderful experience. First problem: Internet. They have WiFi all over the complex and you get good WiFi links. Unfortunately, you almost never get an internet connection. I was there for several days and the only rare times I was able to get an internet connection was when I took my computer right next to the cashier area. Second problem: Noise. I went there expecting calm, relaxing nature. Bird sounds. Quiet. Instead, I got blasting rock music from somewhere that carried clear across the valley. It was horrible. I was trying to listen to some music on my iPhone, and the rubbish blasting into my room was louder than the music I was playing. It sounded like screeching Banshees. Third problem: Shower. The shower/toilet facilities are really amazing. Unfortunately, they have a very small water heater thing, so you only get about one minute of hot water for your shower, after which the hot water is gone. So, wash your hair FAST. So, I wasn't too happy with the experience, which is a shame because the physical facilities are lovely.

Ideally situated for RDC, sunbears & orangutans. OUr double room had everything we needed especially the lovely hot & powerful shower. The restaurant varied between buffet & a la cart but all food was good and served hot. After a hot day's exploring it was good to get back to a nice cold beer. It did look like people from nearby properties were coming in to eat and drink here as well.The only negative was the 10.00 check out. Very happy to recommend. Grab also easy to get

We stayed here for a week in June . The place was really quiet asit was out of season so it was really peaceful. Nice little bungalows with balconies and a perfect sized swimming pool. We practically had the place to ourselves. The owner was friendly and helpful. He arranged tuktuks and food and laundry and had lots of information about the area. The place is a little tuktuk ride from the centre. Sen Monorom is a great little town with a market and fantastic big air conditioned supermarket, little bars with an interesting nightlife. Theres lots of beautiful countryside around with plenty of treks and activities. Recommended.

Located in nature and simple setting, it is a nice place to relax and set back. Not fancy at all and just like a mountain huts or tents, but our kids enjoyed it. Bathroom is simple and neat but almost outside setting.
