Garni Hotel Bel Vert

Karoline and her family were incredible hosts and the hotel is outstanding. We've been skiing in the Alps and Dolomites for 8 years and this was the best experience we've had for accommodations. Ski in/ski out was perfect. Location was great for dining and walking to the heart of the Selva. The rooms were very comfortable - bedding was comfortable, bathrooms quite nice, closets and storage were roomy, window blackout shutters worked perfectly, and the heated bathroom floor luxurious. And family style breakfast was delicious. The physical building is very nicely designed. And the service and hospitality were outstanding from the family and all of the staff. Can't wait to get back.

We have stayed in countless mountain hotels across Europe to enjoy skiing and this hotel is just average. On the positive side, the room was large, clean and comfortable with a balcony. The room was quite old fashioned but that did not bother us. It is located right on the slopes so one may ski in and out. On the negative side, the entire hotel is missing charm and warmth. Given all of the amazing charming mountain hotels (and for the same price), it felt rather plain and uninspired. Sadly, the family that runs the hotel and the staff in the breakfast room, do not add any fun or "soul" to the place. it feels like a business and not a home. We were rarely greeted by the family and certainly did not have any meaningful conversation with any of them...which is half the fun of a true and good family run hotel. The breakfast is quite average and not matching the level of freshness or choice of the many hotels we have enjoyed. Just this week we returned to the area and for the same price in a different hotel, we had a marvelous breakfast and much larger spa. All in all serviceable but not special in any way.

This family owned garni is amazing! Spacious and clean rooms, nice breakfast, excellent location (ski in-ski out, on Sella Ronda), very warm hospitality, beautiful views of the Dolomites! We are returning each year for skiing holidays since 2012 and never disappointed! Fam Huber is a lovely family who takes care of all your needs!

We spent 12 nights at Garni Bel Vert and it was perfect! Karoline and her family and staff are extremely hospitable from the start to the finish. The breakfast is the best in the Dolomites. The location could not be better - a true ‘ski in ski out’ chalet with walking distance to the restaurants & shops. We loved every minute of our stay.

Great views, comfortable bed ! Very clean and large room! Great shower pressure and they give you a robe and slippers to use for The spa , which had a steam room and sauna ( I just wish the men and women had separate private areas ) The breakfast was pretty good and the people who own it were fantastic! Bed was comfortable!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and area to stay! Would love to go back!

We stayed 6 nights in a premium room w daily breakfast. Bel Vert is very clean, efficient, pleasant staff, a short walk uphill from town, very close to a gondola and bus stop. The steam/sauna area was available from 4-7 pm, nicely maintained. Breakfast included a bit of daily variety and eggs cooked to order (vs buffet style).
