Hotel Central

Centrally located hotel in Seefeld, all in walking distance. Rooms are spacious and food is great. But the real gem of this place is the staff - all smiles! You feel like one of a kind guest and all your wishes are well attended to! Spa and sauna part is also a good addition to the hotel. Planning my next visit already.

I recently spent 5 fantastic days at the Hotel Central with my daughter and the moment we arrived at reception we were greeted very warmly by the reception staff. This hotel is only graded 4 stars, probably due to the fact that there is no trouser press or swimming pool. However, the accommodation and choice of food is most certainly 5 stars. The hotel is situated literally in the heart of Seefeld and is close to the shops, station and excellent walks and ski slopes. I would highly recommend Hotel Central to the most discerning of travellers.

This was the second time we spent a week at this classic Tyrolean family-owned hotel that gave us such a warm welcome during our first visit in 2016. After our first stay it was clear that if we ever come back to Seefeld we'll return to Central Hotel. The hotel has a very good location close to the town centre where it is easy to go the cafes, shops, summer concerts and the bus/railway station. The rooms are modern and stylish with a cosy Tyrolean touch – and it was always nice to return to the well-cleaned room after a long day spent outdoors hiking or cycling. This time we stayed in bigger double room on the top floor and had very nice views to the mountains from the panorama window. We found the size of the hotel to be perfect: not too big nor too small. I'd recommend booking half-board: the 4-course dinner is a real treat and suits well vegetarians as well which was an important criterium for us. There is variety in dishes and the desserts deserve a special mention. The waitstaff are true professionals with a sense of humour (our greetings to Nedo!). In our opinion the best thing about this hotel is the warm and at the same time very professional atmosphere the owners Angelika & Hans and the hotel staff succeed to create: you can really sense that they want to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff at the reception are friendly, attentive and always willing to help – they provided us with useful information and tips about bus & train timetables, bike rental, cycling routes, etc. We met the owners several times during the week and it was always nice to have a chat with them. We got the impression that a lot of the hotel guests keep coming back to this hotel. We especially want to thank the hotel manager Hans and Petra at the reception who helped us catch the Flixbus to Munich on the last day of our holiday week – we would have been in trouble without your quick reactions! This hotel is, true to its name, in the center of beautiful Seefeld. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet is delicious, and the amenities are plentiful. But the best thing about this place is the staff. They were all, without exception, incredibly friendly, outgoing and helpful. And I will include the owners in this category as well, although they are obviously not staff, they work alongside their staff and they are friendly, helpful, and willing to go the “extra mile” to make your stay memorable. I want to give a special shout out to the front desk staff and the bar tending staff. I stayed here for a full week and would go back in a heartbeat. And of course, I don’t want to forget, the scenery in and around Seefeld is breathtaking!

Just stayed here for a week with Riviera Travel. The staff (and owners) are lovely, friendly, helpful and very efficient, (special mention for Effe & Eric). The food at both breakfast and evening, was of excellent quality and plentiful. Our room was very spacious and clean. Hotel is in great position for town. Excellent hotel. All staff so helpful and attentive. Great quantity and quality of food at breakfast and evening meal. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean. Owners Angelika and Hans very friendly and keen to welcome all guests. Location perfect in centre and next to pedestrian zone and railway station. Cannot fault it.
